David Icke is right: Poll

I'm up in the air about Icke. I agree with his spiritual message. Sometimes I think his research lacks discipline, sometimes I choose to suspend my disbelief. On a mythological level, his narrative makes sense.

I studied Icke many years back and I recall very clearly beginning to see it all everywhere I looked. It was just everywhere all around me. I dont know if what he says is true or not, but it is interesting and I certainly wont close my mind to it.

Icke is a *bit* over-the-top for my interests -- he tends to be very undisciplined and sensationalist. The net effect is to dilute the importance of critical issues by lumping them with fantastical speculation. So, I view him more as an entertainer than a diligent researcher.

Re: your poll: Your choices are so vexing -- there's not a single one that *best* reflects my opinion, which is probably closest to I don't agree with Lizard Brains but DO go-along with Shapeshifting-- precisely opposite a choice you offer.

Actually, you said it best: His narrative makes sense in a mythological sense (or perhaps metaphysical, or is that metaphorical?)

That is, I'm up in the air about Icke.

Illuminati, underground bases, alien alliances, reverse-engineering alien technology, Moon bases, alien/Lizard brain/human hybrids ...

It makes my head hurt, I can't take him seriously.

How about a specific linked report I could vote on?

I feel exactly as you do, Starman. I could have put 20 different versions of going along with Icke. What I thought I would find here, I have so far... we mostly secretly agree with him!

At this point, it seems about 55% of voters think there is something to Icke. The rest believes he is either wacko, or an anti-Semite.

But there is only 9 voters... c'mon, there's at least 4-5 times that amount of people looking at the thread...

I used to think David Icke was way too out there, and indeed...at face value many things he goes into is too mind shattering or out there and cognitive dissonance sets in.

But when you look at what's he's really saying, it to me makes a lot of sense.
I think Icke has one of the clearest grasps(tho I dont buy everything he says) on history and where things are going, and the nature of reality.

And perhaps, when he says "reptillians", it's an allegory to something more inter dimentional than inter galactic...but no less evil.

I think reptilians is a cop out. Its so much worse than that: they are human beings just like us. How fucked up is that? And we all have the potential to become monsters just like them.

Still, I enjoyed the first 30 seconds of the BBC piece about Icke -- his core point about how most humans are watching a movie projection, and that whats actually going on is something completely different....yeah, David, Im hip to that. Right on, amen, etc.

Ego-driven, cult of personality bullshit.

The "reptilian" junk is just othering the other. If it gives people hope, I guess it's -- nah -- fuck David Icke.

The upper echelon puppet masters are indeed reptilian, cold-blooded, soulless, demonic monsters from other worlds -- metaphorically.

I give Icke credit for opening the eyes of many people. But he also is his own worst enemy, buying into and promulgating plenty of nonsense.

This reminds me of the posit that "fallen Elohim"/fallen angels/etc only look like aliens/UFOs/monsters to people but in reality are said at least in mythology to look like big Nordic men. I think Stitchin claims even the Sumer's believed the "fallen God men" merely looked like big men, and not some scaly reptillian beings.

Speaking of which, I just remembered that at the end of Communion, Walker pulls the face off a typical big eyed alien to reveal a reptillian face.

I'm not sure I picked up on Icke's idea of us watching a movie projection.
I know about future events echoing back causing some psychic thoughts,
about DMT being infra red goggles possibly, but never heard this.
Tho, I love Icke's deep questioning of reality.

I only see the poll results. It doesn't give me a place to vote.

Reptilians? As a metaphor, sure. The rest - global control by evil elites, worldwide slave trafficking, total enslavement by banksters, war without end - too ourageous to believe.
