I guess I need to go through and read the entire thread, but it looked to me like the "stalking" accusation was a bit over the top.

Here is Doodad threatening Alice in the "Israeli War Criminals" thread, as if he owns the place:

If you insist on promoting such a canard I may be forced to post every single Palestinian Arab Muslim atrocity I can find and when I get chastised, invoke the thread disruption card. Since I don't want to cause Jeff anymore headaches, please don't try to immunize yourself and your posts from honest criticism by invoking that card. I am asking nicely in the spirit of honest discourse but I'm only going to ask once.

Here is part of the remarks he was responding to:

Is this true? If so, I must register my strenuous protest. I have called him Doodoo, but I must say deleting her post at all even if not for that reason seems an extreme reaction unless she, or anyone else for that matter, was posting incitement to violence or racist remarks or approvingly linking to racist sites or articles. If it was for calling him Doodoo, have ya'll taken a gander at what he's called me and others, and his constant ad hominem attacks? I don't agree we should be deleting those, either. I cannot agree at all with deleting posts except for the reasons I cited.

If name calling is the standard, then I will have to agree the bar seems higher for him than the rest.

Yes, I have deleted a comment, can't remember if it was Alice, that called him Doodoo. It was at a time when I was on the warpath after a high number of threads had been totally hijacked by disruptors in which there was nothing but a LOT of ugly name-calling, one thread after another, almost in a cascade. Warnings didn't seem to have any effect. Believe me, Doodad had more than his share deleted. If a comment had an insult in it, I deleted it. It wouldn't be such a problem if the threads had been originally started by one of those who participated in the insults, but they weren't.

I'm not going to apologize, but I'd already offered to resign, when this was going on, and I still will, if that's what you want. But the people involved needed smacked, and you can't smack one and not the other. Things settled down then. Well, kind of, for a time.

As for the "stalking" accusation, I'm in disagreement with Jeff. Calling GM (?) a stalker is like jumping out in front of a jogger and running ahead, then saying the jogger is chasing you. Doodad has just adjusted his technique.

Which was during the time my computer was on the fritz, so I had no idea what was going on. I guess at bottom what I'm trying to get across is that I am sick unto death of Doodoo. You are absolutely correct that his accusation of stalking is absurd and he has perfected this technique as well as others. I truly believe he may be an agent provacateur as well as a neocon, an accusation I have made to his face. Whatever original material he manages to stitch together comes from the likes of Little Green Footballs, for cripes sake. When pressed to defend his opinions, he attacks and never gives a cogent or detailed answer. He completely disregards any information which contradicts what he says and continues on the attack, as if nothing had happpened, much the way DE used to do but at least DE could provide half way decent citations and could give a passionate and detailed defense of what he believed.

I'm telling ya, Doodoo is gettting paid.

Watch what happens to that thread now, without intervention. It's already started. They know I've backed off. Actually, I'd say myself that GM has been behaving remarkably well, considering. Of course, our Arcadia is always willing to "step into the breach".

I always thoroughly enjoy Starman's comments and in this thread he just totally destroys Doodoo, but does Doodoo notice? nooooooooo, he just continues on his malevolent way.
