Oh damn, psyopus is good! Reminds me for some reason of Acid Bath. It's a shame that Louisiana band suffered from the death of the bass guitarist.

Acid Bath was a seminal band from Louisiana, USA active from 1991 to 1997. It is impossible to categorize Acid Bath under one label, as they combined sludge/doom, death, grind, stoner, blues rock, and even folk in their music. In a Pit Magazine interview, Dax Riggs classified their sound as "death rock".

Peter Grudzien - The Unicorn

Full album (from this blog)

Being an openly gay country music artist probably isn't that remarkable these days. Back in the early 60's, when Peter Grudzien started performing his lurching homo-bluegrass tunes in Greenwich Village bars, it was. Sometime in the decade that followed, he discovered psychedelic music, incorporated it into his Hank Williams/Johnny Cash inspired oeuvre and started producing some rather surreal shit. It all finally made it onto vinyl in 1974 with The Unicorn, an album of "madhouse hillbilly music from The Twilight Zone" (Jello Biafra).
