That's quite lovely. For some reason, Diana Ross saved all her loveliest singing that wasn't either on the Supremes/Temptations record or Diana & Marvin for that song. A version of which is on the Supremes/Temptations record.

Though I do kind of wish that they had triple-mashed it with some Fragile by Yes. Then it could have been "Ain't No Misty Mountains Come Out of the Sky and They Stand There." But only kind of. Because that record really sucks.

Also, I also always love it when Motown artists do spoken word. The late-period unsinging of the Motown superstars is too unsung, imo. Especially on:

I'm Gonna Make You Love Me -- Diana Ross & The Supremes and The Temptations

Though I love the singing, too. And the song. I haven't thought of it for I-don't-know-how-long, but it used to be a personal favorite of mine, back when I still had greater expectations of life than, you know, none.

Thanks for reminding me of it! :)

Stop, Look, Listen (To Your Heart) -- Diana Ross and Marvin Gaye

Include Me In Your Life -- Diana Ross and Marvin Gaye

You're a Special Part of Me -- Diana Ross and Marvin Gaye
