I dunno, I thought it was beautiful, and a fascinating discursion on what constitutes "realism" versus "naturalism", that is, what makes something appear real, which is not neccessarily the "copying" or imitation of life. FWIW, Murnau's Faust (which stars the artist referenced by Glover in the interview, Emil Jannings as Mephistopheles) is available in its entirety on YouTube, beginning with Part One here.
