One chatter, present and correct, sir!

This lingr thing is better than the phpchat.

It doesn't have the awful flashing screen refresh that I got on phpchat.

So, thanks Jeff!

Hi to code unknown and rex from the other day. Sorry I didnt have much time to chat.. I did go back and read what you were saying though, what a pair of interesting fellows!

Is there any way to shrink the font size of the text? It seems awfully large on my screen. I know I'm getting on a bit, but I don't need text for the reading impaired just yet.

Anyone else find the text size on the lingr app much too big?

Hammer, simply adjust your web browser's font size/zoom level (in Windows at least this can usually be done by pressing Ctrl-+ and Ctrl-- (Ctrl-Minus).

Nice to see Slim in the room recently too!

Hiya Slim!

I may just lurk in the room today, a nice lazy saturday. Of course, various household chores will call me away, but I may have time to ramble incoherently at times.

See you there.

That Michael Hess and the BBC have a right nerve don't they? Waiting until the demise of Barry Jennings to conduct and air a new interview that contradicts Jennings and upholds the official story. I wonder how many involved with all that at the BBC have a real inkling. Probably a couple at least. Not relevant to this thread, but there ya go. Hi mac.

What's the point of joining and then leaving without typing so much as a letter?

You might at least say hi.

"O Oysters," said the Carpenter,
"You've had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?'
But answer came there none--
And this was scarcely odd, because
They'd eaten every one.

I agree with Penguin that IRC is a far superior service.

Perhaps we could switch over if we reach sufficient numbers to warrant it.

For now the lingr thing at least has convenience on its side.

biggest problem with chat is that we're all so coy....(smile)

scratch the above statement. the biggest problem with chat is the fact that it is not

PASSWORD PROTECTED. ANYBODY CAN SIGN IN AS ANYBODY. NOT COOL.......

where is the password protected one?
