CC,

My kneejerk reaction is almost always to side with the underdog in any situation. That's just how I am or was made to be and I don't consider that a bad thing. And I am almost always averse to dogpiling on someone who is already down. But frankly, this situation is an exception.

I wrote not so long ago in this thread that you and I probably agree on a number of things. That is apparently not the case. I'm having a hard time finding much of anything we agree on, but more to the point, I'm having a hard time finding anything that we disagree on and could have a civil, intelligent debate about. Normally what that would mean is that I would simply avoid interacting with you in any way, but sometimes that is not a very noble or practical option, even if expedient. Besides, I've grown to despise the crying baby picture response you're so fond of.

Here's a helpful link to Merriam-Webster's definition of equivocate.

And here's another helpful link to more pictures of crying babies.

Sorry to hear that. If I'm treated with respect, I'm more than happy to return the favor, and when proven wrong, the first to say so. I'll certainly miss all the thoughtful interactions we've shared.

Your advice re: crying babys is well taken. Next time I'll just tell him to fuck off and go DIAF, as that seems to be language best understood here.

1 : to use equivocal language especially with intent to deceive

That would be LBO, misquoting me in an attempt to deceive .

2 : to avoid committing oneself in what one says

I doubt one could say I haven't committed myself lately...LOL

You're an asshole.

Do not ever, ever accuse me of being deliberately dishonest. And do not ever put words in my mouth.

oh yes, please come with the defense of the 'moral high ground'...

What I wrote was "language of disrespect". I also included mention of the members as well when mentioning a firmer hand.

disrespect? guilty. i don't think i ever tried to make it appear otherwise. [there is also no forum guideline that says i have to respect you, mighty patriarch, or even that i am required to pretend that i do]

i usually lose respect for someone after i get the FOX-news-style-spin-commentary on what my more traditionally leftist comrades would call "human rights abuses" of the unfettered police state. ["America: love or leave it" Rush-Limbaughic reparaphrasing you from like pg 2 or something] I'm more inclined to call it something different. More stupid cop tricks. Whatever you like. "Par"

I'd suggest you lost all hope of maintaining righteous moral high ground when you posted your violent fantasies about "kicking ass" or whatever of the mostly harmless unarmed wizard [pg4] and proceeded to justify this with the usual "could be dangerous" bullshit i frequently get from apologists for the security state.

If your equivocating the advocating the removal of kids from their parents, suggesting they kill themselves, false accusations of racism, "fuck off and die", "your delusional" and so on with "snot nosed", you just go right on ahead LBO.

wrt: lame and/or bad parenting:

btw, i'm pretty sure i never said "fuck off and die", although it is possible i've merely forgotten.

i never falsely accused you of racism, either. i merely stated that some of your more recent postings were filled with well-known right-wing racist innuendo and caricatures. "racist" is largely a useless term in such circumstances, because the people who parrot such nonsense are often unaware of their racist views.

[you're delusional because you somehow managed to interpret my previous post in this thread as a retraction. Or at least this is the projection your crowing created in my cortex]

If stalking me with this kind of shit is your thing here now, there's not much I can do about I suppose. However, our interaction at RI has now come to an end.

this from the dude who has followed me from thread to thread pointing out how lame i said he was to anyone who'd listen, meanwhile avoiding this thread....

As for your comment Wintler, not "all", just Mr. Ed.

get in line dad.

Thanks for the info, Monseiur Ed.

Silenus does seem to share representative commonalities with our fair Wizard, albeit with more support from his fellows.

Ahh, Saturday night in the Castro...

The guy in the upper left looks like he's phoning out for pizza. And I like the black guy that's pinching Mr. S's bum and... ...whatever else he's doing there...

No, my dear, I'm very well aware (this is what I get for trying to be discreet  ). It's just that I've never seen or heard of anyone doing it in the midst of a stroll before!
