Prison Planet.com
Monday, September 7, 2009

We are urging all Infowarriors and activists to tune in to The Alex Jones Show tomorrow at 11am CST and watch the websites from 8am tomorrow morning for a huge announcement that represents a brand new and vitally important initiative against the forces of tyranny.

This information will be the biggest thing that Alex Jones has ever announced or done and you will read all about it here first.

The announcement will be followed by a special guest appearance on The Alex Jones Show.

All will be revealed from tomorrow morning onwards so make every effort to tell other truth activists to tune in and monitor the websites as we unveil this important and exciting new development!

Then read about what we have to deal with locally regarding our alternative conspiramedia:

90.1 FM loses about half it's coverage

Pirate Radio and the FCC : Blue Meanies in Austin
http://theragblog.blogspot.com/2009/08/ ... es-in.html

That article hasn't a clue over the infighting dynamics of the various factions here in town related to the micros. And I don't know half the story.

:?

I wish more people like those on this board would host / support micro-fm ... you'd all contribute a grand array of (d)programming. :D

It seems to me that the film Pump up the Volume was timed perfectly to initiate the young masses into the internet.

When I saw the film, I was intrigued by pirate radio and did some research. It is quite an interesting subject, and I discussed the idea of a station with some friends. we quickly realized that the primary problem is one of content. Not quality, but quantity. Try coming up with even a few hours of original content each day without resorting to just playing music. Imagine having to keep it up every day. I suggested that we would need a small community of content providers. Like this forum, for example.

Any surge of interest propelled by the film was funneled into the 'net, where we pay to provide the content. Pretty slick. Unlike traditional media, the internet is largely anonymous. The paranoid types may believe that this serves them some advantage, though the opposite is true. The PTB can easily identify even 'net savvy types, while the silent majority are propagandized by anonymous agents, and the brave activists are pummeled by sociopathic predators.

I was struck by the use of the word "activist" at PP. The truth is, anyone watching the Alex Jones clown show and the myriad others of it's ilk, are about as far from activism as they can get. Inactivists would be a more apt description.

I'd have to argue with that assessment. Many AJ followers are extremely active- he's really tapped into the youth market. He's got a lot of kids burning copies of his DVDs, handing out fliers, putting up posters and bumper stickers.

Of course I'd rather see these eager young infowarriors promoting something better, but you can't question their enthusiasm.

And what do people here think of Jack Blood? I've actually been on air with him, and he was a very gracious host, not barging over his guests like AJ does, but aside from being personally likable, I don't know that much about his politics.

In the era of MP3's, podcasts and the like, content actually isn't that hard to come by, or to share.

And I'll also point out that not only is unlicensed broadcasting a possibility, but that, even in the greedy, capitalistic United States, licensed broadcasting may also be a possibility, through for example the new low-power FM policies, as well as previously existing provisions for very low power broadcasting.

Conspiratainment.

Have you looked at the comments?! Not many people there appear to take Alex seriously, except as an excuse for some Liberal bashing or Patriotic venting. Amazing.

"There are often times where I look around the country. I look at all the brain washed, ignorant, narccissitic filth and I wonder if trying to save this country is truly worth it."

I guess he got the message then :!:

In my opinion, connecting AJ with 9/11 truth does no bloody good at all. Even people of average intelligence are repulsed by his shtick. The messenger can sometimes obscure the message. Jones is bigger than his message, that's a problem right there. It's a cult of Poisonality.

We would be better off without any figureheads as leaders. We should concentrate on the message, not the messenger. Do we really need leaders on the 'net? If someone wanted to speak with me about AJ, I would walk the other way, and that is the whole point, methinks.

Let me guess, Disney or Clearchannel has bought Prisonplanet/Infowars? :)

I first heard of Alex Jones when I saw the animated film "Waking Life" in late 2001. Though I quickly found his bombastic hammer over the head faux Rush Limbaugh cadence a bit too much.

He has a lot of good info: abuses of power and corruption, child abuse,
horrors committed by governments and corporations worldwide, crap being put in our food, etc. But he has this bizarre issue of constantly changing stories and taking desperate bits of random half truths and insisting he's right and everyone's wrong.

However, I have seen all his films and find him entertaining now and then.
I did like that documentary on him called "new world order".

Btw, if anyone wants to see total "lulz", look no further than Prisonplanet article comments.

A typical comment will read

"ALX JONEZ IZ A ZIONIST SHILL JESUIT DISINFO!
BuT WE MUST STOP OBAMA FROM TAKING OUR GUNS, THIS IS
SERIOUS! THE FEMA CAMPS ARE COMING!!!"

and "Jew Jew Jew Jew Jew"

aw, thanks for posting this.

Given the way Alex frames the message, my guess is that it's going to be a former top politician coming out for "9/11 truth" and or revealing "how the elite are ready to bring us global government".

While Alex Jones is known for hyping up stuff and then quietly backing away from things that didnt quite pan out...

Im willing to bet this will be quite a humdinger of a whistleblower.
Like a John Kerry, Colin Powell, etc. level of person "coming out for not incompetence/unanswered questions/lihop, but full on mihop"

The issue is, can such a position be credible? I even wonder if
E Howard Hunt's confession was genuine, or one last attempt at wanting to be known and liked...even if its by the conspiracy crowd who villified him.

Van Jones comes on the show with invoices for nanothermite from Darth Dick Cheney?

There is a new journalist joining infowars?

New Prisonplanet DVD offer?

Alex has designed an even louder bullhorn with a range of 10 miles?

Hmmmmm....

Having watched the video, he appeared absolutely awed by *something*. It will be interesting to see.

Which would be tantamount to Karl Rove 'leaking' the Dubya cocaine story to Jim Hatfield.

Or the forged documents to Dan Rather.

a huge announcement that represents a brand new and vitally important initiative against the forces of tyranny

To me, that reads like Jones' jargon for the launch of a new broadcast platform/network/soapbox. Bigger audience, more national exposure = "vitally important initiative...."

I don't know what Jones makes but it's probably not close to his earning potential in the current climate of crazy, since Glenn Beck's radio contract alone is worth $50 million.
