It All Kind of Makes Sense Doesn't It?

Postby 8bitagent » Wed Dec 30, 2009 10:44 am

As we close out the "zeroes", I'm struck with just how sad and bizarre 2009 ended up being. I'm reminded of when Obama called the 2008 mud slinging "silly season". But there sure seems to be something hideous under all that silly. If I was to do a painting to sum up 2009 from an American perspective; it would have to be Obama, Tiger Woods, Kanye West, and Michael Jackson wearing swine flu masks in a runaway UFO balloon that's being menaced by the "underwear bomber".

Maybe we could work the pope being knocked down in there.

I'm struck how from beginning to end, 2009 was all about the media manipulating emotions with a skewed view of black men.
We had "Obama the new savior" for the heartstrings in January, then "Obama is bad for this country" by the latter months. We had the era of Chris Brown and more importantly the image of Kanye West "traumatizing a virginal white snow princess". We had the Godlike worship of Michael Jackson, which has to be the biggest media hype since 9/11 itself. For the last month it's been NOTHING but Tiger Wood's, the "richest and most powerful sports star in the world" seeming to fall from grace. Mixed in between we of course had the Fort Hood Shooting, "miracle on the hudson",
"swine flu" and oh yes..."balloon boy".

And of course, about two dozen "terror plots/jihadists" busted in the "nick of time".

And now, as expected...right before we say goodbye to the decade and year...a black man from al Qaeda tries to initiate a new 9/11 on Christmas day.

Oh, it should seem pretty damn fishy to you all.
Someone out there really dislikes Obama, and I'm guessing it's the very elite who engineered his "win".

Let's see what the latest meme seems to be, shall we?

1. Yemen and Somalia are next on the US war sights:
Somali man tries to board plane with the exact device the Detroit bomber had:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/34629897/ns ... ner_attack

Aww, look at that...they make us all aware how "al Qaeda in Yemen and Somalia" work together and how they are connecting this to the Detroit bomber.

2. Al Qaeda was behind both Fort Hood and Detroit Bomb Attempt,
Iman Awlaki behind Detroit Attack

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/200 ... d-by-imam/

Two fucking years ago I wrote that that goddamn Anwar Awlaki was a
deep state operative protected after he served his masters in helping the 9/11 hijackers. I wrote a whole piece on how Awlaki(Aulaqi) was used to
help the 9/11 hijackers in San Diego and Virginia. I wrote how "convenient" it was the FBI let him go back to Yemen.
And NOW this same guy we're told instructed the Fort Hood shooter, AND was personally involved in the Detroit operation, giving his "final blessings" to Mutllab.

The Nigerian accused of trying to blow up a Detroit-bound airliner had his suicide mission personally blessed in Yemen by Anwar al-Awlaki, the Muslim imam suspected of radicalizing the Fort Hood shooting suspect, a U.S. intelligence source has told The Washington Times.

The intelligence official, who is familiar with the FBI's interrogation of Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, said the bombing suspect has boasted of his jihad training to the FBI and has said it included final exhortations by Mr. al-Awlaki.

"It was Awlaki who indoctrinated him," the official said. "He was told, 'You are going to be the tip of the spear of the Muslim nation.' "

...

Yemen's top diplomat said Tuesday that hundreds of al Qaeda militants are in his country and pleaded for foreign help and intelligence in rooting them out.

"They may actually plan attacks like the one we have just had in Detroit. There are maybe hundreds of them -- 200, 300," Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi told the Times of London.

The Sun also reported Monday that "British extremists in Yemen [who] are in their early 20s and from Bradford, Luton and Leytonstone, East London ... are due to return to the U.K. early in 2010 and will then await Internet instructions from al Qaeda on when to strike."

The British tabloid quoted an unnamed Scotland Yard source as saying, "We know there are four or five radicalized British Muslim cells in Yemen."

While the U.S. intelligence official cautioned that Mr. Abdulmutallab may simply have been boasting to his FBI interrogators, he told them that "this is just the beginning."

"I beat your security, and you can't stop us," the intelligence official cited Mr. Abdulmutallab as telling the FBI.

Al Qaeda's presence in Yemen also is being boosted by the release of detainees from U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. At least three current or recent al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula leaders -- Ibrahim Rubaish, Said Ali al-Shihri and Muhammad Attik al-Harbi -- were released to Saudi Arabia in 2006 and 2007.

In other words, get ready...we'll be seeing massive terror attacks, attempts and "disrupted" plots all over Europe.

Also, Yemen Yemen Yemen Yemen Yemen.

The Awlaki meme is getting red hot, of course

One reason Mr. al-Awlaki is so dangerous to the U.S., terrorism scholars and analysts say, is that he is a native speaker of English and a longtime U.S. resident. This gives him the cultural familiarity and shared experience to recruit jihadists and terrorists from among the millions of Muslims in the West who may be unreachable by Middle Eastern imams.

The intelligence official said Mr. Abdulmutallab speaks English with a heavy British accent, which he may have picked up either during his 2005-08 studies in London or in his native Nigeria, a former British colony where his father is a wealthy banker.

In December, U.S.-backed Yemeni forces made at least two unsuccessful attempts to kill Mr. al-Awlaki. The latest was the day before the Detroit plane was to be attacked. In its Monday statement, al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula said the Northwest plot was launched in response to recent "American aggression" in Yemen.

Oh but it gets better!

3. Anwar Awlaki has gone "operational" in al Qaeda in Yemen(AKA, Awlaki is the "new bin Laden")
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/12 ... nal-yemen/

We keep hearing how Awlaki is tied as a key figure in the 9/11 hijackers, Hasan's Fort Hood massacre and now this Detroit attempt.
But now they're making it seem like he's the new bin Laden, the spiritual operational guy who is leading many more would be jihadists to come.
OH! and how freaking convenient...see, this means we cant close Gitmo

Al-Awlaki, the imam from whom alleged Fort Hood shooter Malik Nidal Hasan sought religious advice, is in the heart of a region that is becoming increasingly volatile. The senior U.S. official told Fox News that the Arabian Peninsula terror network has branched out beyond Yemen and Saudi Arabia and has shown "intent to hit Western targets and the homeland."

The instability of the region is reviving criticism of the Obama administration's plans to transfer some Guantanamo detainees to Yemen, which has an abysmal record of keeping detainees in prison.

All the suspects convicted of being involved in the 2000 attack on the USS Cole have either been released by Yemeni authorities or managed to escape in a 2008 jailbreak.

4. CIA Knew al Qaeda was "sending a Nigerian" for a major terror attack
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/12 ... rd-flight/

Right up and center, the news media is pushing the advanced knowledge incompetence schtick. Why, to make Obama look bad?

CIA failed to circulate report on bomber:
http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/12/29/air ... index.html

5. Unanswered Questions:
If 9/11 had it's "Dancing Israelis", "Moving Vans", and "ISI agents"...
and JFK had its "tramps" and "grassy knoll"...well then 12/25 AKA crotchbomber has its "well dressed man", "video tape man" , "Mutallab was in a trance/manchurian candidate" and "second bomber arrested".

You guys see a pattern?

6. This Attack Was NOT meant to be a success
No way in hell this attack was meant to succeed, and thats not just the hindsight. No, the puppetmasters NEEDED us to see the black face of this would be jihadist. They needed us to see the eyewitness testimony of the passengers. The heroic tales of guys jumping on Mutallab.
No, the Bojinka 2009 "bring a plane down on Detroit Christmas day" is a psychological op. Notice how they use goofy memes like "shoebomber" and "underwear bomber" as a psychological trick? It works to bend reality, as well as further humiliate you at the airport. Why, now now we need to check your unmentionables!

7. Message To Obama

As Worldnetdaily posts its "send Obama back to Africa" poll, a big message of this event is "you cant trust those scary African men".
This event serves to embarrass and side-line Obama, as well as force his hand into pushing through THEIR agenda.

8. Get Ready for the "Angry White Revolt"
Yeah, you knew it was coming. Not only are we going to be bombarded
by Islamic terrorists in America, get ready for gun toting conspiracy theorist white supremest patriots provocateured into shootings and other acts of violence. And lord only knows what else, to "send a message".

9. Technology and gadgets are our new savior

Yes, its ok if full body scanning and other Orwellian measures get used on us in every day. Its all to "keep us safe from scary brown terrorists"/

With Twitter and Facebook being the "face" of the bloody Iranian clashes,
with every inch of America being bombarded with technology advertising...with the idea that free tv is about to go away, and gadgets being pushed in our face as an opiate for the masses...like the financial collapse, we can expect "cyber hacking terrorism" to be mixed with
"Big Brother is good for you"/.

10. Who is really in control?
That's the scary thought isn't it? We can only hope it really is just some old rich white guys...oh how we can only hope...the alternative, I'd hate to ponder.

Remember those fad like early 1990's "3d posters", where you have to squint and unfocus your eyes to "See it". To "get it".

At this point, I don't know if I want to "get it"...as frankly it's a look scary.

No problem. Ooof, I gotta be up in a few hours, and I've realllly been trying to avoid researching anything or looking at the news.

But for some reason I went to Foxnews, and right there...top headlines were CIA had advanced knowledge of the attack, the Iman tied to Fort Hood was involved in this attack, and that Yemen is where al Qaeda is now.

And I don't know, for some reason this whole narrative all year long with media sensationalism mixed with celebrity worship just feels like it's coming to a strange head soon.

but good work, 8bit, especially on Alwaki/uqi. apparently he is very popular with scholars of Islam in the West--I heard on Ph.D. state "maybe he has a psychiatric condition" in an attempt to explain his sudden Islamism. It seems... convenient.

'it's like a jungle sometimes, it makes me wonder..'

Fear Sells... but Who's Buying?

I think what you are taking note of is real, but i think Corporate Power structure wants to shed the fear based domestic politics of the Bush/Cheney era.
I think Corporate interests will consider it a real feather in their cap if they can assume more and more control throughout the 21st century, without relying on racism.

The TeaBaggers represent a faction of White America that want nothing more than to return to the Corporate model of the 60's era show "Mad Men'. But guess what? That is not going to happen.
The Corporation I work for doesn't need a white male foreman sitting at a desk, whose only job is to take credit for the work of black men and white women. They have computers to fill that role now. White men in corporations have to realize they have to work just as hard as everyone else now or they are out the door. The computers don't let anyone slack, they don't let you shift the blame. The computers care about profit.

Alberto realizes this.
Barack realizes this.
Condi realizes this.
Sonia realizes this.

Glenn realizes this too, and he is making as much money off of these dumb fucking crackers as he can before they wake up.

Remember the Monex lady of the Bush era? She would assure you in a nice calm voice that, 'there is never been a better time to invest in gold', and she was right. You were way better off if you invested in gold then as opposed to now.
Now the gold hawker is a sweaty pin eyed white guy who is talking right to the freaked out TeaBagger.
Too late TeaBagger! if you are just getting into the game now, you are fucked.

honestly 8bit, the only thing i can't figure out yet is whether Obama is black Reagan, or Black Wilson.

The entire 2 party dichotomy is being played out in Hegelistic fashion within the Democratic Party right now, with the GOP as a bizzaro side show.
This can't last forever, but I think it will last for awhile longer. It is too soon to burn the angry white core of the GOP off of the crucible. But it will happen eventually, and then you will see young Republicans who look more like Jeb Bush's kids than Jenna or Barbara. But Michael Steele is a joke right now and that is all he is meant to be.

When Reagan said 'it's morning in America', it really wasn't for a lot of people.
But a lot of people wanted to believe it. Corporate America wants things to stabilize as quickly as possible. They want Obama to have his 'morning in America' moment.

"Don't push me 'cause I am close to the edge / I'm trying not to lose my head" -Grandmaster Flash
In the early 80's any number of people could relate to these lyrics, but in truth, few actually heard 'The Message' on their radios, but they all saw the Cosby Show on their TV sets.

Media itself is going through it's own throes right now, so it is kind of hard to find the perfect analogy, but I think MSNBC is far and away a better indicator of the Corporate talking points than Fox News. And keep in mind that this is the Comcast MSNBC we are talking about, not the GE NBC of old.

The only way to understand Deep Politics is with Deep Focus.

Study the election of 1916.

Imagine Mitt Romney as Charles Evans Hughes and imagine Sarah Palin as TeaBagger/BullMoose Teddy. She'll probably bow out too, but it will be too late.

The Corporate goal isn't to restore White America. The Corporate goal is to get Latinos to like Corporatism.
All of the racism you quite rightly point out that you see in the M$M is too broad brush, it alienates Latinos as well as African-Americans. It's presence serves to draw out the racist white people and further isolate them.

The goal for America is a united corporate state that in the end is no more powerful than any other nation. The iconography of the future is corporate logos, not the flags of nations.

Very soon you will see a multi-colored peacock on your screen with no letters (NBC) branding it. Because to commit to letters is to commit to a language, and to commit to a language is to commit to a flag.

And there is no need for flags in the future, only logos.

A League of Logos.

“The intellectual creations of individual nations,” write Marx and Engels, “become common property....and from the numerous national and local literatures, there arises a world literature.” They do not say all of it will be good literature. With that proviso in place, one should not hesitate to cite Ayn Rand’s work as an example. A Russian-Jewish émigré who wrote in English, Rand shows the influence of Victor Hugo, Friedrich Nietzsche, Rudyard Kipling, Yevgeny Zamiatin and Cecil B DeMille, to give no more cosmopolitan a list than that. She was a transnational writer, and it seems appropriate that her work is now available in Chinese, Japanese, Turkish, and Vietnamese.

Marx and Engels also write that the constant flux of innovation and crisis generated by the world market will leave a lasting effect on human consciousness. Capitalism shatters traditions and undermines mythologies; it reduces all consoling fantasies to dust...

But here Marx and Engels overestimate just how much reality the human psyche can bear...

Washington (CNN) -- President Obama may be the most popular man in his administration, but according to a new national poll, he's not the most popular person.

A CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Wednesday indicates that the president's poll numbers pale in comparison to the favorable ratings of two women: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and first lady Michelle Obama...

Yeah this decade seems like just a dream, a blur. I do have to give credit to an early scene in Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11, when he shows Al Gore and supporters celebrating, and then he puts the footage in reverse.

It's almost like the Matrix was right...that in 1999, the machines symbolically put the system on freeze, and we just *thought* we were moving forward. As I remember December 30th 1999 clear as day, what with all the "Y2K" hype. Who knew Y2K would come 21 months later, and be a whole other strange kind of best.

All the magazines are trying to put a positive spin on the coming new decade...sadly, it looks like we're all being setup for the darkest of days in ways you can almost just feel are beginning to take shape. But my answer? Get the popcorn out, and simply do what you love to do with your life's goals, dreams, and aspirations. And laugh. A lot. And love.

As for Awlaki, when I read he had helped the 9/11 hijackers from San Diego to Virginia, gave them shelter, introduced them to other associates, and so much more...and *then* was not even really questioned, I knew something was up. The elite always protect their al Qaeda operatives, like Mamoun Darkazanli living free in Hamburg Germany. Or Osama bin Laden and Zawahiri.

perhaps, just maybe Obama is forcing the system to go after the secret government's own friendly assistants as part of ending the covert support of the A.Q. network? I know that's very optimistic, but it would be the way to go about if not exposing, shutting down the elements in the US who many hypothesize are driving the terrorism as a tool of control.

of course this is the most optimystic of guesses.

I was wondering earlier, that maybe that is why they knocked off Bill Cosby's son, Ennis. He threatened to literally become the president in some ways -- both in a scripted role and the "real role", ala Swarzenegger.
