What fun to know that Fosse has four hits in this thread, and unbeknownst to me, I had given one of those last Thursday, I think. Yes, the orchestration in the film is likely appropriate to that of typical small theater productions of the era put into film versions, I guessing, although, I really like the beefed up orchestra in the revue as well the much better sound recording equipment for music in general. I drool over the choreography and its executions, too. Now, I must grand jete to get my hands on a snifter. Tata.
