Do we need to wait another 10 years before people can laugh at a Cheney-calling-the-MIHOP-shots-while-Bush-bumbles-about-the-country schtick over drinks in a nightclub? Could we well-informed, better-grounded conspiracists be doing this now, in Hicks' honor? Or was it a time-and-a-place thing which took advantage of a certain level of pre-web cultural innocence?

wtf ever became of him? Is he as big a dirt bag as the other Denis? Miller?
The character Franco, played by Daniel Sunjata, persists that 9/11 was an "inside job" all throughout season 5. Daniel Sunjata subscribes to these same beliefs in real life. On September 22, 2009, the Loose Change 9/11 video is being redone and will be narrated by Sunjata.

the tension and the release are the two prime elements in laughters construction.

There used to be a vase stuck in that hole in the marker.
No doubt it is being used as a vessel for fermented beverages, a use which I imagine Hicks would approve.
The McLeod Magnolia Cemetery sign looks like it has been used for target practice with a shotgun. From what I gather Hicks was not overly fond of gun toting rednecks.
Those a prerequisite conditions for a decent orgasm as well, not to mention lots of other things, like drama.

Whoa, seriously? Care to give us a few hints about that, elaborate somewhat?
Please?
Hicks immediately started talking about the experience in his act. Booth didn't think it was an appropriate thing to admit in public. "Bill would go out there on stage and say 'Me and my friend were up on a spaceship,' and I wouldn't like him talking about it. I thought it kind of demeaned the trip, like we were trying to brag about it." After his friend's death, Booth reconsidered: "It wasn't until Bill died that I realized that it was dumb and insecure of me not to want to tell people about that moment we had shared. I should have talked to him about it more."
