Last time I tried to enter Canada, they tore my car apart, took my wife and I in separate rooms for interrogation. I didn't think I'd get into Canada or see the US again for that matter. Finally a Canadian relative intervened and we were let in. Oh Canada.

Sweejak, the last time I left Canada by mistake, they did pretty much the same thing. And I allegedly have citizenship. The instant $180 fine was the final kick in the pants. Along with the border cop who decided to play nice after 90 minutes of assholery, asking, "So, do you like CCR?"
Anyway. Always watch that left turn coming out of Thunder Bay. You never know where you might end up.

Bwa-haw. People who get pinched, I dunno... you've only got 40 miles with distance signs saying 'Duluth' 'Bridge to USA' 'Minneapolis-St.Paul' and billboards for 'Ryden's Border Store' and 'Grand Portage, MN' 'Lutsen, MN' 'Grand Marais, MN' ...
When fugitives/crims get busted at the US border, I always figure it's because they can't read, can't read a map, or are very, very high.
If you take that left, it'll say Highway 61 as well. It starts in Thunder Bay and ends in New Orleans.
