As far as I can gather most banning of posters results from their expressing antisemitic opinions or posting clearly antisemitic material.

Doodad?
Socrates? I assume he got banned.
DE?

Jeff, do you have a list of banned members that we could look at? Although, if you post it, it might prove that you're an anti-semite, so think twice about doing that.

That's true, the 103rd ARG Sockpuppeteer's Regiment probably accounts for most bannings.

Fuck it.

You're not very convincing, Jeff.

I'm done here.

Good-bye RI.

I'm not that sure anyone has fully addressed the question about why 17breezes merits the degree of reaction he gets when at least two other posters share similar views.

Why is this?

Speaking of DE, has he asked for his posts to be wiped out here? They seem to have been.

I'm with Gouda on this: it's not his views, it's the fact that he comes to this board expressly to push them. Also he doesn't have the moderated view that Percival has. 17breezes believes (or pretends to believe) absolutely anything an IDF robot says. Sepka and Perc genuinely have the views they do; sometimes I respond, sometimes I can't be arsed. And they contribute to threads on completely other subjects, as well.

Anyway. Lots of places do it.

Hope you don't mind but I'm quoting this (and my response) into the new "Flotilla" thread in an effort to consolidate this because proliferation is making it hard for me to follow all the threads.

I'm thinking of a thread proliferation campaign just to tie the hands of 17Farts, actually. Or, perhaps, the epic confrontation that will be known at IDFKWHWTF.

neutered in the sense that if your aim was, hypothetically, to disrupt discussion of this topic, the end has been achieved, no?
the question is why, who, why, what, why, when, why and why again?

Peregrine, thanks for the kind words, I really dont try and stir the shit but yes, I know I have strong opinions about a topic that certainly brings out a lot of emotion in people on both sides of the issue.

Well again, show me the heads exploding over Sepka's remarks. Or Percival's.

Zionists have been posting here since 2005. Can a Jewish Zionist post here?

Maybe if he changed his avatar to a lolcat?

The difference with Percival is that at least you can have an intelligent discussion.

So far that has not been possible with either of the other two.

I got called a troll almost immediately and in the most obscene and hateful ways; there was no intention of trying to have an "intelligent discussion." Don't try and revise history here.

Don't you try. You got called a troll in several obscene and hateful ways, but "the most obscene and hateful"? That's probably a bit of a stretch. (Again.) Even a penultimate form is not the ultimate.

You deserve neither hate nor obscenity, but to paraphrase one of our finest posters, your sloppy assertions about who's a "moron," what "is and isn't antisemitic," which groups want "extermination," all without bothering to define either your stance or your terms, all of this begs to be confronted.

Not with "hate," nor with "obscenity," but with the kind of dogged determination it deserves.

There is no "history" on the Internet, esp on a discussion board -- sure we can scroll down into archives, but that's not what I mean. It's just conversation about pet topics. This happens to be your pet topic. Nobody hates, really hates, anyone on a discussion board. We may think we might hate, but we really don't, but there is a lot of obscenity in the world as it is. It sucks when you find that you have offended someone -- so thus, you apologize to the other entities that populate the board if you happen to really like being here.

Well after a little thought and some soul searching I changed my mind and decided I am not going anywhere mostly because I made a promise prior to Searcher that we would continue this discussion, at least between he/she and I in a more civil manner and so I need to at least keep that promise to him/her, and I intend to do exactly that.

Further, if hardball is what you all want it is what you will get. I have never been one to shy away from a bloody fight.

Ever hear of "megaphone?" Perhaps soon should I decide to make that move you will meet some of my real zionist friends and oh do they love a good debate with internet antisemitic goon squads.

Let the games resume!
