Helms had come up with a solution to the problem of CIA officers who doubted the legality of MHCHAOS. Henceforth, it would be described within the Agency as an operation against international terrorism. "To a [sic] maximum extent possible, Ober should become identified with the subject of terrorism inside the Agency as well as in the Intelligence Community," Helms ordered. Afterward, Colby sent Karamessines a summary of the meeting: "A clear priority is to be given in this general field to the subject of terrorism. This should bring about a reduction in the intensity of attention to political dissidents in the United States not apt to be involved in terrorism." The change in label was evidently intended to improve the Agency's image and cover, on the assumption that "terrorists" were more believable as a genuine threat than "dissidents."

Andy Stephenson was working with Bev Harris on exposing electronic voting fraud at BlackBoxVoting.org.

(Read Bev's book online by scrolling down below the 'donate' section on the right side of the page.)
There was lots of DemocraticUnderground.com support of their efforts and Andy seemed to be the issue anchor while Bev displayed some personality traits that alienated some folks. Andy stayed in touch and updated the online community.
Then Andy got very sick and died.
But first there was cyber-COINTELPRO effort using hostile websites to portray him as fraudulantly trying to get sympathy money when funds were being raised online for his treatment due to lack of health insurance.
Now who would do something that ugly to a dying man? Probably those threatened by the man's work. Just a guess.
I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to find that Andy had been poisoned. When Congressmand Conyers was holding the 2004 voting recount hearings after Kerry conceded we were all dismayed that Bev Harris, who had been filming the discarded trash with voting records, was missing in action - a no show.
I also wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Bev Harris has been threatened and terrorized into laying back some publicly. After all, the myth of American democracy is a carefully maintained myth ever since the National inSecurity State took over business after WWII.
This democracy myth is used to recruit and justify bombing. This is why the TV networks (CIA) have been doing the national campaign results reporting through a bogus organization since 1964. All part of State Department propaganda.
So, hell yes, they'd poison and threaten people, especially while another oil war is being marketed.
