"O Oysters," said the Carpenter,
"You've had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?'
But answer came there none--
And this was scarcely odd, because
They'd eaten every one.

The pleasure is all mine. Time for a ceremony for a New Order ( take cover):

Do you know, you can sing the exact words to Cosmic Cowbell's "King and Queen of America" posted above to this tuneby Radiohead, and it is the exact same tune. I just tried it, and now my neighbours hate me even more than before, but it's true.
Try it.

And Billy Idol's alright, I suppose. I actually prefer his version of Gimme Some Truth to Lennon's, but don't tell anybody.

EDIT: This fine fellow narrowly avoided being Mark Chapman... The words are the soul of the piece, if you can catch them. He's a fine player and performer.

Julian Cope doesn't get much love on here, even from the Brits. He should. I think his best songs are worth a bit of consideration.

Don't Call Me Mark Chapman:

Paranormal In The West Country:

He's insane, of course, but that should be no bar.

It's been noted elsewhere that some
must have rain to be happy, so
here's more that's slap happy and snappy!
