I like Tull’s arrangements. And I like this video
because it’s longer than 3 or 4 minutes. A lot to enjoy :basicsmile.

Even though it split the work in two, Thick as a Brick all by itself is reason enough to miss records. I loved the newspaper that album unfolded into, and read it closely looking for clues of interpretation.

I looked for those clues too, and listened pretty attentively for the first time in three listens with the Thick as a Brick lyrics in front of me. I'm captivated with Tull's changes in instrumentations and tempi and the generally pulsating accompaniment, which I love. It's as if listening to an unfolding psychodrama with a depth that's been well thought out. Anyway, I'm certainly loving listening to Tull's music, right now. Did someone put something in the air and didn't tell me? Am I on another learning curve? :D

On Edit. I should ask, 'When have I not been on another learning curve?' There. That feels better.
