yeah - it's a rather painful situation.

Here we have this person - the GG - with ALL this ridonculous independent (well, independent from party politics) power - and all they have ended up being is a super powerful tool of the PM.

well, I heard part of a run down of the throne speech on CBC and they didn't mention it. Shameful - particularly since they covered the hideous 'harper government' move to block funding for political parties (which means that only those parties with big-money donors will have anything to advertise with next election) -- I think that alone would have been a good segue into the 'stop harper' girl.
