France and Belgium are a bit of jaunt from Norway but... only other recent mystery bombings I know of in the vicinity of Europe.

I'm against deplorable prison conditions, but man...if I was an overworked Norwegian business man I wouldn't mind a few days there.
Kind of funny when their prison cells look like Ikea store model rooms.
Wow...Norway prisons sound freaking amazing:

I just meant that I hoped the links/news were wrong, not that you were. The BBC's been wrong before, and not just on numbers. But it seems to be 80 dead, right enough. Jesus.

Do you have a source for that?

Eyeno posted some earlier, others were eyewitness accounts I was listening to on BBC 24, others I read in tweets and phone messages quoted on various news sites. I'll try and find links tomorrow, too sickened just now. That bit seems fairly solid.

Devil's advocating again, but one person could easily carry several hundred rounds of ammunition.

That's 900 rounds.

As I said, I honestly have no idea, that's why I asked, sincere thanks for clearing the matter up.

Sorry, mate. My phrasing, no crabbiness there. Yeah, it's unbelievable.

Nice outfit on Breivik here.

It's proving a bit difficult to find where the dailymail people pulled that picture from. Was that on his facebook page?

The Norwegian Order of Freemasons (Norwegian: Den Norske Frimurerorden) is the Masonic Grand Lodge in Norway. The first lodge (St. Olai Lodge - Later changed to Lodge St. Olaus to the white Leopard) was opened in 1749 and is still working. The Grand Lodge has followed the Swedish Rite since 1818, which requires its members to adhere to Christianity. During the union of Sweden-Norway, the Swedish-Norwegian king was Grand Master of the Order. The sovereign Grand Lodge of Norway was consecrated in 1891. As of 2009, the Order has ca 20,000 members.

[...]

The order is headquartered in Oslo, with a large building next to the Norwegian Parliament.

The lists on this website is based on "matrikkel of the Norwegian Masonic Order, 2008" ... Read more about the source at the bottom.

I think this was the lodge:

This is terrible. Sounds like something from the Brabant Massacres era.

so what the fuck was his angle?

I want one thing clear to EVERYONE - you don't gather assets of any kind without protecting the shit out of them. and not by training petty thugs into a "police" force, everyone better start learning to defend their people.

Geezus, 87 confirmed dead? Was not expecting that. I'm guessing some of those are drownings/hypothermia from the cold water as they tried to swim away. Maybe I'm alone here, but this just feels different. Had this been reported as the usual "Islamist" attack, by an immigrant/s radicalized in jihad it may not stand out to much(apart from the targeting of teens) But that face on the guy's(obviously hastily made front/fake) facebook page and the other "handsome model headshots"...and then that lone quote on the guy's twitter...

Something about this reminds me of the Joker in the Dark Knight. Or Loughner, or even that Chinese cannibal greyhound bus attack in Winnepeg. Just out of the blue chaos.
To me it genuinely felt like, even synchromystically, that the Giffords shooting/Safeway massacre on Jan 8th kind of jumpstarted the several month spate of mass revolution/Arab unrest, new wars,
Japan earthquake/tsunami, etc...with the mass animal die offs a few days before as a harbinger or omen. I hope this isn't the start of big bad things worldwide. So far the only news story the media has been focusing on is triple digit heat and the debt deadlock.

Also, cptmarginal: holy crap...what episode of Twin Peaks is that from? That is one of the most unsettling vibed things Ive ever seen in a movie or tv show. Lynch sure is the master of cryptic unease along with Kubrick.

Btw, anyone noticed any synchronicities that stand out besides the date? I know such talk is probably grossly inappropriate given there's so many dead youth and more I'm sure to be announced, it's just I do genuinely feel there's patterns to these events.

This just in: "The emerging new threat of right wing extremism in Europe"?
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43859395/ns ... ws-europe/

Also why does the daily mail keep showing the Masonic apron pic instead of the other ones?

Yeah, cept they had started by then, the Tunisian thing was inspired by a Tunisian burning himself to death in mid December, and the attacks on Coptic Churches had already been - leading to Egyptians of all backgrounds acting as Human Shields when the copts celebrated Christmas.

This goes back before that, wikileaks last year and the way the anons got into everything for example.

There is stuff going on, but every 21 or 22 years for ever or ages this sort of upheaval begins.

2010/11

1989/90

1967/68

1945/46

Dunno about 1923/24 tho, I spose hyperinflation started in germany, and the Chinese got moving but I dunno. Seems to stop with the end of ww2.
