a little detail I missed at the time...

on sep 29th 2001 Paul Simon was the music on SNL's first ep post-911, they had a big production... got some firefighters in, Ghouliani was there, all stone faced, his buddy kerick is there and some other dude, and of course in the back... a bunch of firefighters.

The song was, The Boxer. and do you remember how the chorus goes?

lie lie lie... (repeat)

here's a clip...
http://channel.pandora.tv/channel/video.ptv?ch_userid=ssofficer&prgid=34579920&categid=all&page=48

it's not on youtube since I'm sure the copyright would scrub it. note that that pandora tv user who posted it has some fucked up stuff and I can't read other parts, but that user is not endorsed.

Query: Is it about the children, or about (the Founder’s) entrepreneurial and philanthropical prerogatives?

This is a charmer. Notice the written captions
as the music notations and drawings move
you through the piece.

StarmanSkye, this gentleman has also been inspired by Malalai Joya.
The video is the first in a series the painter will produce as
he continues his expression in portrait of Ms. Joya.
