so one possibility is that rather than admit these deaths occurred in the OBL raid, they're being "moved" to this event which maybe didn't really happen at all then?

Or maybe this event happened, but the helicopter was sabotaged instead of shot down.
Or maybe this event happened, but the helicopter was shot down by spooks.
Or maybe this event happened, but the helicopter was shot down with a drone.
Or...
Or...
Or...
I don't think any of us are in a position to know exactly what happened at either the Bin Laden event or the copter crash, but I think we can be certain that the official story is as full of holes as Bonnie and Clyde.

Defense officials: Fewer SEALs died in crash than originally believed
Washington (CNN) -- The Pentagon will put the death toll of Navy SEALs in last weekend's downing of a helicopter in Afghanistan at 17, according to two Defense Department officials.
The original figure provided to the news media by Pentagon sources for the number of SEALs killed was 22.
Officials say further information that has come in also indicates that not all of the SEALs were assigned to a top-secret Naval unit as they originally said.
Officials now say the following: There were 22 Navy personnel on the helicopter. Of that number, 15 were SEALs belonging to the top-secret unit that conducted the raid on Osama Bin Laden's compound in Pakistan. Two others were SEALs assigned to a regular Naval special operations unit.
Five additional Navy personnel were so-called conventional forces with particular specialties who regularly worked with the SEALs. One official said that included a dog handler and some communications specialists.
The other eight U.S. troops killed were three Air Force forward air controllers and five Army helicopter crew members.
Multiple military officials had said for days there were 22 SEALs among the dead, and all were members of the same overall unit that killed Bin Laden.
One official adamantly insisted the information indicating otherwise came to the Pentagon Tuesday night and there was no intent to deceive or withhold information. "The SEALs considered everyone part of their team" the official said.
Eight Afghan pesonnel -- a civilian interpreter and seven Afghan troops -- also were among the 38 people killed in the crash.

Latest twist in this moronic saga:

The film's climax? Mr Obama monitored the top secret raid in the White House situation room

Peter King queries Bin Laden film White House access
A senior Republican has called for an inquiry into reports the White House fed secrets about the killing of Osama Bin Laden to Hollywood film-makers.
Peter King, chair of the House of Representatives homeland security committee, cited a report suggesting the White House hopes the film will boost President Obama's election bid.
New York Times writer Maureen Dowd said film-makers had "top-level access".
The White House called that report - and Mr King's claims - "ridiculous".
Bin Laden, the al-Qaeda leader who had spent almost a decade in hiding since fleeing Afghanistan in late 2001, was killed in May in a raid into Pakistan by members of an elite Navy Seals special forces team.
The killing of the man behind the 9/11 terror attacks marked the recent high point in Mr Obama's presidency.
Since then the president has been dogged by joblessness, a sluggish economy and partisan bickering and gridlock in Washington and has seen his approval rating slip.
'Home-stretch boost'
In the aftermath of the raid, senior US military officials decried media leaks of information to the news media, saying they jeopardised future operations.
On 6 August, New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd wrote that Sony Pictures had begun producing a film about the Bin Laden raid by Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal, the Oscar-winning director and writer of The Hurt Locker, which portrayed a squad of US bomb-defusers in Iraq.
"The moviemakers are getting top-level access to the most classified mission in history," Ms Dowd wrote, adding that the film would "no doubt reflect the president's cool, gutsy decision against shaky odds".
Ms Dowd said the film was due to be released in October 2012, "perfectly timed to give a home-stretch boost to a campaign that has grown tougher".
In a letter to the inspectors general of the CIA and the Department of Defense, Mr King, a New York Republican, asked officials to investigate the extent to which the White House, the CIA and Department of Defense discussed "the advisability of providing Hollywood executives with access to covert military operators and clandestine CIA officers".
He also queried whether the film would be submitted for pre-screening and what steps the Obama administration had taken to ensure no operational secrets were revealed, along with other matters.
Open access
"The administration's first duty in declassifying material is to provide full reporting to Congress and the American people, in an effort to build public trust through transparency of government," Mr King wrote.
On Wednesday, White House spokesman Jay Carney said suggestions the administration had provided secret information to the film-makers were "ridiculous".
He said the White House press office makes an effort to ensure that news articles, documentary films and Hollywood productions about the president are accurate, and aims to accommodate film-makers who seek interviews with White House officials.
"We do not discuss classified information," Mr Carney said.
"And I would hope that as we face a continued threat from terrorism, the House Committee on Homeland Security would have more important topics to discuss than a movie."

Re: 20 members of OBL hit team killed in helicopter crash
I was provocating about this on my local forum with my friends, asking for examples in which the military was so quick in disclosing the death of black operatives at the hands of insurgents, along with a few other assorted off points surrounding this story. It turns out that Michael Strange, the Seal from Philadelphia, went to school with a friend's brother and was part of his inner circle. Though it's secondhand, I'm inclined to at least believe in his existence, as I was previously calling that into question myself.
This friend went on to state that Strange could have been involved in the Bin Laden hit, though I doubt the veracity of that.

wouldn't this sorta point to it exploding in the air?The Chinook helicopter that insurgents shot down over the weekend burst into flames before hitting the ground, leaving wreckage scattered on both sides of a river in eastern Afghanistan and killing 30 Americans and eight Afghans, witnesses told The Associated Press on Thursday.

Pakistan let China see crashed U.S. "stealth" copter
...ISLAMABAD | Sun Aug 14, 2011 6:58pm EDT
ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - Pakistan gave China access to the previously unknown U.S. "stealth" helicopter that crashed during the commando raid that killed Osama bin Laden in May despite explicit requests from the CIA not to, the Financial Times reported on Sunday.
The disclosure, if confirmed, is likely to further shake the U.S.-Pakistan relationship, which has been improving slightly after hitting its lowest point in decades following the killing of bin Laden.
During the raid, one of two modified Blackhawk helicopters, believed to employ unknown stealth capability, malfunctioned and crashed, forcing the commandos to abandon it.
"The U.S. now has information that Pakistan, particularly the ISI, gave access to the Chinese military to the downed helicopter in Abbottabad," the paper quoted a person "in intelligence circles" as saying on its website.
It said Pakistan, which enjoys a close relationship with China, allowed Chinese intelligence officials to take pictures of the crashed aircraft as well as take samples of its special "skin" that allowed the American raid to evade Pakistani radar.
One U.S. official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told Reuters there was reason to believe Pakistan had allowed the Chinese to inspect the aircraft. But the official could not confirm it happened with certainty...

The documentary "The Tilman Story" pretty much says what's up without explicitly saying so. I mean when the damn coroner who examined his body said it's close ranger murder, you know something is up.

And now apparently, China got the OBL stealth craft wreckage.
It's funny...China got the WTC steel, got most the oil in Iraq, most the mineral contracts in Afghanistan, most the oil in Sudan(prolly a thank you from Bashir for helping to stage manage the Darfur genocide)
and holds America financially by the balls in some ways.
