Thanks for that link. I believe that it is in the final interview that the police question her credibility. Basically, they turn on her. <br><br>Nancy Krebs talks about the Christmas theme surrounding her abuse. The Santa Clause, Bill McReynolds, that participated in one of the Ramsey parties was questioned by police. It was from this party that a mysterious 9/11 call was made. (This party took place some days before the White's party) Ironically, Bill McReynold's wife, Janet, had written a play about a little girl that was strangled in a basement. It's nearly 2am, so I will wait till tomorrow to read all this, but I will say that it should be an interviewer's job to not only be collecting information, but also assessing credibility as they go along, because it is entirely possible that these transcripts will make it into court where they would be torn apart by the opposing attorneys. So the cops need to act as their own devil's advocate, if you will. Of course, they can be up-front as they do it, too. Tragically fascinating! Here are some interesting facts on John Karr.<br><br>He married teen-age females, twice - one was 13 when they married. "In 1984, when Karr was 19, he married a local girl, Quientana Shotts, who was 13 at the time, county court records show. Shotts filed for an annulment the following year, complaining that she was "fearful for her life and safety." In a response filed with the court, Karr contested Shotts' age, saying she was in fact 14.<br><br>In 1989, Karr remarried, this time to Lara Knutson. She was 16 at the time. "<br><br>He claims to have worked as a careprovider for a German family with 3 daughters - "I awoke the children in the morning and gave them breakfast," Karr wrote in one online resume, recounting life as a private teacher and caregiver of three girls in Germany, aged 7, 11 and 12. "At day's end, I made sure the children had their evening bath, then put them to bed and read to them before they went to sleep." <br><br>----<br>"Marion County Probate Judge Annette Bozeman said Karr was in her office frequently, working on car titles, sometimes accompanied by Lara. "He was a very polite fellow, but he was a little unusual," she said.<br><br>Bozeman recalls a young man with hair down to his shoulders who told her Lara had not gone to the hospital to deliver their three children. "It seems he delivered his children at home," she said. Space says he's most-likely killer, but not of Jen Benet. I have noticed there has been a lot of child abduction/abuse noise in the media in the past couple of weeks. Ok I am a little confused here, can someone please spell this out for me.<br><br><br>My understanding now is that we have TWO women who have come forward, a BELINDA SHUTLZ and a NANCY KREBS, both accusingthe fleet white family of having ties with sexual abuse?<br><br>Is this correct. If we could resume rationality here...<br><br>If a woman weighs more than a duck...no wait, that's not what I was going to say.<br><br>I was also struck by the babies dying after childbirth thing. Saw it in the paper this morning. <br><br>Also, he does seem to have a bit more income than the average substitute teacher. There is a story about Karr's connection to the sex trade (and I assume they mean child) but it was premium content on, I think ABC's website.<br><br>As for the woman and the accusations...I saw a lot of forum discussion on that somewhere. What the anti-Kreb folks were saying is that people supporting her story were being aggressive and obnoxious on the forum in question (don't remember which one.) The ultimate "proof" that her story was not real was that she accused John Ramsey of raping her also. I didn't follow the logic of how that disproved anything.<br><br>I also think that the woman has a very verifiable past as a victim as one or two perps against her actually went to jail. And if she's related to a godchild of Fleet White (THAT is a seriously WASP name if I ever heard one) that would be easy to prove. <br><br>And also (maybe it was even in this thread so sorry for repetition) one investigator had said "even if only 15% of what she says is true, it's worth looking into."<br><br>None of this is surprising. If there are high level people involved then one would expect this sort of thing. <br><br>Today in the paper, John Ramsey said he was so outraged by all the press frenzy that he was thinking of leaving the country. <br><br>I'll bet you are, John. Some people are ecstatic when their daughter's killer is apprehended and some flee the country. Two different philosophies, I guess. <p></p><i></i>
