Here's the description of the vehicle issue:

Police have kept secret for operational reasons what is known about Breivik's exact movements in the run-up to the bombing in Oslo and shooting rampage in Utoya island that killed at least 76 people last Friday.

But Teknisk Ukeblad – an engineering publication – obtained readouts from the city's congestion charge system that registered the movements of two vehicles hired by Breivik. Norway has one of the most advanced systems of road tolls in the world, with a network of sensors and cameras around major cities.

Breivik built the bomb that brought devastation to the centre of Oslo in the remote farmhouse he had leased 100 miles from the capital. It appears that he bought 32 litres of aviation fuel from two different stores last September. It can be used as an ingredient in a bomb.

Last week, Brevik hired a Volkswagen Crafter van and a Fiat Doblo minivan, planning to use the VW to carry the bomb and the Fiat as his getaway vehicle.

According to sources, a roadside sensor at Ulven on the east side of Oslo registered the VW van passing into the city at 10pm on Wednesday, July 20. It is not known where it was parked.

The bomber took a train back to Rena, the village near his farmhouse, just after 1pm the next day and caught a taxi back to his home. The taxi driver remembers laughing and joking with him. At 11pm that night, the grey Fiat hired by the 32-year-old far-Right extremist was registered driving into Oslo to the east.

At 11am the next day, the Fiat was captured by a sensor at Skoyen, in west Oslo, a few minutes from the apartment of Breivik's mother, driving into the centre. Four hours later, the VW passed the same spot. It was parked at the entrance to the prime minister's office by 3.20pm, just two minutes before the bomb went off.

CCTV is said to show Breivik walking straight from the VW and getting into a car behind Marguerite Church.

He parked the Fiat around the corner from the bombing site with his guns in the trunk, went back to his mother's apartment and got the VW car bomb.

Breivik, 33. 77 killed. Those numbers seem to always pop up.

I remember the epic massive page thread on the Norway terror attacks last year here, but Gladio/Strategy of Tension immediately popped into mind.

- neo Nazi terror bomber
- strong Masonic/Templar themes
- European soft targets

tho for what purpose, Ive no idea. However, with some in Western governments declaring al Qaeda "dead", it now seems like white far right terrorism could be the new thing.

Since it was on the way, they agreed to be interviewed and photographed at the headquarters of VG, a major Norwegian newspaper. "It took 15 minutes – that was all we had time for. We didn't think about how the photographer was taking the picture. He just told us to sit on the sofa." Effortlessly cool, then.

There were 569 people on the island the day that Anders Behrig Breivik opened fire — and he told a court on Thursday he would have liked to kill them all — including beheading former premier Gro Harlem Brundtland.

He also said he wanted to post a video of Bruntland’s execution on the Internet.

Breivik murdered 77 people last July, in the Utoya island shooting spree and an Oslo bombing. In addition to beheading the former premier, Breivik planned three — not one — car bombs and a death toll of several hundred people.

In the bomb attack in Oslo, he said his goal “…was to kill the entire Norwegian government, including the PM… and everyone in the building.”

Breivik said that originally he had planned three car bombs and a shooting. He said he had considered placing a second bomb near the headquarters of the Labour Party, which he accuses of triggering a “Muslim invasion” with its generous immigration policies.

For the third location, he considered parliament, Norway’s Aftenposten newspaper and City Hall, before deciding on the royal palace, although he insisted he had planned to warn the royal family so they would not be hurt.

He said he then planned to ride a motorcycle to a far-left squatter community, then to the Dagsavisen daily and finally to the headquarters of the Socialist Left Party, “executing as many people as possible” in each place.

But it turned out to be much more difficult than he expected to build bombs, so he ended up only bombing the government offices and then heading to Utoya, where “the goal was to kill everybody.”

http://news.nationalpost.com/2012/04/19 ... on-island/

The 33-year-old far-right extremist also testified he had given his murder weapons names from Norse mythology, calling his rifle "Gungnir" after Odin's magical spear and his Glock pistol "Mjoelner" after Thor's hammer.

http://english.ahram.org.eg/NewsContent ... ath-t.aspx

"The plan was to behead Gro Harlem Brundtland while it was being filmed," Breivik told the court.
He said he was inspired by al Qaida's use of decapitation but noted that "beheading is a traditional European death penalty".
Breivik said the beheading "was meant to be used as a very powerful psychological weapon".

In testimony too graphic for any parent to hear, Norwegian far-right extremist Anders Behring Breivik shocked an Oslo courtroom Friday as he calmly described hunting down teenagers on an island summer camp.

As his words rolled out, survivors and victims' relatives of the July 22 massacre hugged and sobbed, trying to comfort each other. That testimony was also broadcast to 17 other courtrooms in Norway where others affected by the attacks were gathered, but was not carried live on Norwegian television.

The 33-year-old Norwegian left out no detail from his rampage, explaining how he shot panicked youths at point-blank range. Sixty-nine people, mostly teenagers, were killed on Utoya island and others only survived by diving into chilly waters to escape.

Breivik said he did not anticipate his victims' reactions.

"Some of them are completely paralyzed. They cannot run. They stand totally still. This is something they never show on TV," Breivik said. "It was very strange."

Breivik has admitted to setting off a bomb July 22 in Oslo, killing eight people, before opening fire to the governing Labor Party's annual youth camp on Utoya island. But he has pleaded not guilty to criminal charges, saying his victims had betrayed Norway by embracing immigration.

The main goal of the trial, now in its fifth day, is to figure out whether Breivik was sane or insane - two official reports have come to opposite conclusions on that point.

Looking tense but focused, Breivik spoke calmly about the shooting rampage, beginning with the moment he took a small ferry to Utoya, an island in a lake outside Oslo. He was disguised as a policeman, carrying a rifle and a handgun. He also brought drinking water because he knew he would get a dry throat from the stress of killing people.

Breivik's first two victims were Monica Boesei, a camp organizer, and off-duty police officer Trond Berntsen, a security guard.

"My whole body tried to revolt when I took the weapon in my hand. There were 100 voices in may head saying 'Don't do it, don't do it,'" Breivik said.

But he did.

He said he pointed his gun at Berntsen's head and pulled the trigger. He shot Boesei as she tried run away. Then as they lay on the ground, he shot them both twice in the head.

The first shot was "extremely difficult," he declared, saying he then entered a "fight-and-flight modus" that made it easier to continue the killing spree.

Breivik said he couldn't remember large chunks of the approximately 90 minutes he spent on the island before surrendering to police commandos. Still, he recalled some of the shootings in great detail, including inside a cafe where he mowed down young victims as they pleaded for their lives.

Some teenagers were frozen in panic, unable to move even when Breivik ran out of ammunition. He changed clips. They didn't move. He shot them in the head.

Others pretended to be dead. He said he shot them, too.

Breivik continued his rampage around the island, luring youth from their hiding places by telling them he was a police officer who was there to protect them. When they came out, he gunned them down.

He said his goal was to kill all of the nearly 600 people on the island. He said he had thought about wearing a swastika on his chest as a pure fear factor, but decided against it because he didn't want people to think he was a Nazi.

"'You will die today Marxists,' I yelled," Breivik recalled.

Maybe of interest:

Breivik uniting Zionism and Nazism. 20. april 2012 Torstein Viddal

I happened to be present at the Oslo courthouse on Tuesday, April 17th, watching and listening to 22/7 terrorist Anders Behring Breivik’s 75 minute main prepared defense speech. A speech that the press and media were banned from broadcasting to the general public. These are my thoughts after following the story for almost nine months.

The first thing that has to be said, is that watching Breivik defend himself for 5 hours this Tuesday removed each and every doubt that he is indeed «legally sane», in the sense that he is absolutely fit to be punished by the Norwegian judicial system for his criminal terrorist acts. All «experts» who say otherwise are flat out lying. This is a sane, rational, logically stringent man of great wit, who happens to also have some pretty effed up ideological views that have made him become a mass murderer and a terrorist.
It should also be said right from the start of this article that there is little doubt that he carried out both the bombing in Oslo and the shooting at Utøya. What remains to be seen is whether he had accomplices and what parts of the misdeeds these people took part in. There were also some pretty amazing instances of police SNAFU – 27 according to one commentator, but a lot more if you look more closely. There’s a string of maybe 40 or 50 or 60 grave mistakes on behalf of the police, guards and government, making them unable to stop Breivik before the bombing of Oslo, stop him getting out of Oslo and to nearby Utøya, and to stop the shooting ASAP when Breivik amazingly managed to get himself transported over the sound to Utøya island, using the Labour Party’s own ferry.
So many instances of SNAFU, in fact, that the mathematical probability of them all occuring on the same day or relating to the same person, should tell you all you need to know. And of course, in the weeks and months after the terror, documents, tapes and other evidence started disappearing. As by invisible hands.
OK. So, returning to the terrorist’s defense speech on Tuesday, April 17th. Breivik started telling us how there’d been no real post-WW2 democracy in Norway, because «nationalists» like himself were not allowed free speech and democratic rights. This should tell us that he wanted there to be more democracy, and that Norwegian democracy should also include «ultra nationalists», a fair point that even I could agree on.
However, he messes it up by contradicting himself completely. He loves America, and especially a certain McCarthy, the postwar communist witchhunt general, and he regrets that McCarthyism didn’t go far enough and never succeeded in sending alleged «commie» American citizens to Soviet Russia. So, really, when it comes to a more real and including democracy with less political censorship, our terrorist is only in favour of it when it applies to his chums, and to his «nationalist» parties.
Apart from this ideologically induced blindness or logical breakdown, he argues convincingly that censoring a movement like his own for too long, eventually will make members of that movement resort to other means, even violence.
His speech more generally was aimed at reaching out to a slightly broader audience than his Manifesto and his earlier writing on Norwegian websites, or to «unite national conservatism, which I support, with national socialism and militant christendom», as he put it himself. So the strategy obviously is to appeal to a broader spectrum of racists, and to play down the Zionist issue, which devides Breivik, JDL, EDL, NDL and Knights Templar, on the one side, from other nationalists and nazis, on the other.
Breivik talks rather openly about the strategy of supporting and expanding «street extremism», like the JDL, EDL and NDL (Jewish, English and Norwegian Defense League, respectively), while at the same time building a network of single cell terror operatives, borrowing tactics from – yup – al-Qaida.
The reason for using terror cells consisting of only one man, says Breivik, is to avoid the eyes of anti-terror agencies. This way he only needed to meet with his comrades once or twice during a decade, if we choose to believe him, and I guess blogs, forums, RSS feeds, social media etc took care of the rest.
Breivik also tries to use the term «counter jihad» as much as possible, rather than «zionism», which is what he really supports, and he has succeeded in selling this bogus «counter jihad» term to the Norwegian mainstream media. To quote from the terrorist’s Manifesto:
«So let us fight together with Israel, with our Zionist brothers against all anti-Zionists, against all cultural Marxists/multiculturalists.»
So, then, this is what it came to in Norway: Where we could have had the press digging into and revealing the horrific lies of the 9/11 terror attacks ten years after the events, instead we got a snob from the West who bombed his own city using «al-Qaida tactics», and who shot fellow Norwegian kids taking part in a summer youth camp for young politicians and future administrators, because he believed the lies and racist conspiracy theories fed to him for ten years by every newspaper, radio and TV station in this nation and throughout the West. Malicious, racist lies about muslims behind every terrorist act from New York and Bali, through Madrid and London, to Mumbai and Stockholm.
The mythical snake – Midgardsormen – seems to be biting its own tail: False-flag terrorism over a long, sad decade goes unnoticed by the press, the journalists and the editors, and the inevitable end-product of these ten years of lies and cowardice and cover-up is our very own Nordic mass murderer and terrorist; Anders Behring Breivik.
Whether he had handlers or not we don’t know, and the press and the police for some reason don’t seem very eager to find out, he is now the shining example, or knight in shining armour, intended to inspire many, many followers in Scandinavia, Europe and America.
He will even be allowed internet access in jail, and thus to build, expand and strengthen his zionist terrorist networks, both on the streets and in the single-man sleeper cells.
Bølløcks.

The court has ordered that the criminal case materials be classified for 60 years. The terrorist has already confessed to setting off an explosive device in downtown Oslo, as well as to perpetrating the massacre of 77 people at a youth camp on Utoya Island on July 22nd last year.

This is what mostly shows up in search results when trying to verify:

This is what Wikipedia says about Arkivverket, the National Archival Services of Norway:

The archives are open to anyone, but there are restrictions on certain types of documents that may contain sensitive or personal information, or could pose a threat to national security. These documents are released to the public between 60 and 100 years after the date of publishing

Note the point about "sensitive or personal information": national security is not the only reason court documents could be "classified" in Norway for several decades. This is common to Nordic legal systems: here in Finland one often sees documents about murder, rape or pedophilia cases being ordered by the court to be kept secret for 50 years.

From the Arkivverket website:

http://www.arkivverket.no/eng/Using-the-Archives/Access-to-archival-material/Provisions-and-restrictions/Restrictions-on-archives

The fact that it is often difficult to distinguish documents containing confidential information from documents that may be freely accessible to the public represents a particular problem. When we know that certain records contain confidential information, it is therefore sometimes necessary to introduce special procedures for entire archives or parts of archives, i.e. "restrict" this material.

In general, public archives are restricted for 60 years, due to provisions on duty of confidentiality in Norwegian Public Administration Act, Section 13 c. Most archives older than 60 years are accessible for use. But due to privacy rights, certain series are under restrictions for extended periods. This includes data such as confidential information from criminal cases, prison archives and health archives (80 years), and statistical base data containing personal information (100 years).

Not until someone is in need of using said material will resources be allocated, within reasonable limits, for an actual review of the relevant data. The evaluation prior to disclosure may entail a waiting period. Under certain specified conditions, users may gain access to restricted material; in some cases by submitting a written petition.

This article from the Norwegian Aftenposten (via Google Translate, so partly a bit iffy, original at link) mentions specifically that at least some of the video and audio recordings from the trial will be kept secret for up to 60 years.

http://www.aftenposten.no/nyheter/iriks/22juli/Her-skal-opptakene-oppbevares-i-60-ar-6811543.html#.T5bdl9VItiA

Aftenposten wrote:
Here, the recordings kept for 60 years

National Archives records in Oslo is built to withstand a nuclear bomb. Only six people have access to the room where the recordings from 22 July-trial shall be kept.

The elevator takes us deep into the ground under the National Archives office at Sognsvann in Oslo.

Ivar Fonnes and his staff go through the long corridors filled with old documents. Finally, we meet the exact opposite: a small room with a few data servers and hard drives.

Hard disks can hold more documents than all the long time we have gone through.

This is where the audio and video recordings from 22 July-trial shall be kept for long after all the players involved have gone out of time.

Violent, sensitive and brutal detail unfolds in the Oslo City Court in those days, and everything is filmed. The recordings are not available to the public until about 60 years, certainly not all.

Last week there was an intense debate whether it is right that Anders Behring Breivik's testimony in court is not being broadcast.

Thus opened the National Archives before the weekend that the Norwegians can see part of his explanation as early as 2013. This they do by looking through everything, and divide up the material depending on how sensitive the information is.

- When will people be able to go to the National Archives and see these parts of the explanation to which Breivik, said Fonnes to NRK on Friday.

The parts where the defendant speaks about his political ideology is most appropriate for display in 2013. Norwegians can see this with the Director General, do not bring their digital copies home.

- How secure are these stores where recordings are stored?

- They are built to withstand nuclear attack, says Fonnes Aftenposten.

In the National Archives do they say that this is the safest civilian buildings in Norway. The digital part is just a couple of years old.

All in triplicate

The principle that one follows is that digital materials must be available for at least three copies on two different media and at two different physical locations.

- We remember the more perhaps from 22 July. Where (ministries, the editor.) Was a backup, but it was in the building next door. Fortunately it went well, but it illustrates how important it is to store things in completely different places, says Fonnes.

The National Archives has stringent security measures for digital archival material than anything else. The recordings from the trial is stored in the same place where it already has 50 million pages of documents stored digitally.

In total, the collection of two billion pages. National Archives plans to digitize 10 per cent of this.

Has any actual evidence surfaced of a secret far right gladio-ish network involved in this, other than a loose confederation of anti Islamic templar dorks online?

Or, if there is a para-political element...its more in a hidden triggering lone gunmen sort of way? Ive often felt that there may be suggestive hypnosis on a much more hidden, untraceable level far removed from the hands on spookery Sirhan Sirhan found himself involved in. It could explain the more 'random' waves of mass shootings, or things like the Giffords shooter and Omaha 2007.

OSLO HATE TRIAL TURNS TO STREET LOVE FEST

April 27, 2012 at 10:45

Forty thousand Norwegians flooded the streets of Oslo in the pouring rain to defy mass murderer Anders Breivik after he derided the popular children’s song “Children of the Rainbow” as a Marxist tool to brainwash children.

The size of the crowd meant that an amazing one in every fifteen of Oslo’s 613,000 residents showed up to the rally.

Underneath a canopy of umbrellas in Oslo’s central square, tens of thousands sang the 1970s children’s song, which celebrates the very multicultural world Breivik so despises. Similar demonstrations were held throughout the country, in the social media-organized event.

After singing, people walked several blocks to the courthouse where Breivik is currently on trail, laying roses on the steps of the courthouse and the building’s security fence in memory of those he killed in a bombing and shooting rampage last summer.

Inside the court, the 33-year-old far-right extremist, who killed 77 people, remained emotionless as survivors spoke of the horror he had unleashed.

While giving testimony last Friday, Breivik cited the song as an example of how the Norwegian school system is an “indoctrination camp” for “cultural Marxism.”

He also directed venom at Lillebjørn Nilsen for his rendition of the tune, saying “he is a good example of a Marxist who infiltrated the cultural sector; he writes music that is used to brainwash children.”

“Children of the Rainbow” is a Norwegian adaptation of American folksinger Pete Seeger’s 1973 track “My Rainbow Race.”

“Breivik has used it as an example of brainwashing, but it is rather an example of the opposite,” Reuters cites Christine Bar, one of the organizers who launched the event on Facebook, as saying.

“We think it represents diversity, and it stands for the community we have chosen to live in – and which Breivik and similar people want to tear down.”

Breivik detonated a bomb near the government headquarters in Oslo last July, killing eight people. He then went on to kill another 69 people, mostly teenagers, at a Labor Party youth camp on nearby Utoya Island.

Breivik claims he carried out the attacks in self-defense, in a bid to protect Norway from multiculturalism – and an impending “Muslim invasion.”

If he is found to be sane, Breivik faces a maximum sentence of 21 years in prison. If declared insane, he would be kept in a psychiatric institute for as long as he is considered ill. Link

TorsteinViddal...

Also, a little known fact even among progressives in Norway, is that Mossad Norway (Mossad's Norwegian branch) has thoroughly infiltrated parts of the Norwegian intelligence establishment - especially the «Stay Behind» or «Gladio» part - since at least the 60s or 70s, when they secured massive deliveries of heavy water (deuterium, or D2O) from Norway to Israel's Demona facilities in the Negev desert.

Norway's first post-war terror event was also carried out by the Mossad, with even the international Mossad boss present, at Lillehammer north of Oslo.

Since then clever journalists have revealed that Norwegian intelligence has let Mossad Norway interrogate Palestine refugees seeking asylum here.

And the list really goes on and on, with media strategies and dominance, etc.

In the manifesto, titled "2083: A European Declaration of Independence" and published under the name Andrew Berwick, Israel is mentioned no less than 300 times, always in a positive light. In his writings, Breivik appears to be an “ardent Zionist,” praising and exalting “The Jewish State” by Theodor Herzl. He attacks the European political establishment, led by the European Union, for not supporting Israel.
Breivik also praises Israel’s policies saying, “Throughout the years, [Israel] has not granted most of its Muslim residents civil rights -- in stark contrast to Europe, which opened its doors to Muslims and granted them exaggerated rights and citizenship."
Breivik also surprises the reader with his in-depth knowledge of Israel’s internal party politics. He praises Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for creating his right-leaning coalition.
“It’s worth noting that Netanyahu has already found allies in right-wing Yisrael Beitenu and in the religious Shas, but has avoided creating a right-wing alliance because he knows it would collide with the U.S. Obama administration,” Breivik writes.

Gilad Atzmon highlights Norwegian mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik’s enthusiastic support for Israel and the sympathy he has received from Israelis and, in the light of this, asks whether Breivik might have been a “Sabbath Goy” responding to the Norwegian Workers Youth League’s – to which all of his victims belonged – backing for the boycott Israel campaign.
I learned last night from an Israeli online journal that two days before the Utoeya Island massacre, the leader of the ruling Norwegian Labour Party’s youth wing, the Workers Youth League (AUF), Eskil Pedersen, gave an interview to Dagbladet, Norway's second largest tabloid newspaper, in which he unveiled what he thinks of Israel.

In the course of the interview, Pedersen stated that he “believes the time has come for more drastic measures against Israel, and [that he] wants the foreign minister to impose an economic boycott against the country”.

Pederson went on to say, “The peace process goes nowhere, and though the whole world expect Israel to comply, they do not. We in Labour Youth will have a unilateral economic embargo of Israel from the Norwegian side.”
The Workers’ Youth League has been devoted promoters of the boycott Israel campaign, According to Dagbladet, “The AUF has long been a supporter of an international boycott of Israel, but the decision at the last congress demands that Norway impose a unilateral economic embargo on the country and it must be stricter than before.”

“I acknowledge that this is a drastic measure,” stated Pedersen,“but I think it gives a clear indication that, quite simply, we are tired of Israel's behaviour.”
Murderer Anders Behring Breivik – an enthusiastic supporter of Israel
On 23 July, we also learned that mass-murderer Anders Behring Breivik was openly enthusiastic about Israel. According to a variety of internet outlets, Behring Breivik was a regular poster on several Norwegian internet sites, notably the blog Document.no, which is run by Hans Rustad, a former left-wing journalist. Hans Rustad is Jewish, extremely pro-Zionist, and warns against “Islamization”, violence and other social problems he assumes to be connected with Muslim immigration.
The observant among us are becoming increasingly aware of a growing trend of pro-war Zionist internet journals and blogs, such as the UK’s neo-conservative and infamously Islamophobic Harry’s Place, that ostensibly like to give the impression of “rallying for the preservation of Western culture” and of “standing up for democratic values”. For the most obvious of reasons, these sites are almost exclusively focused on “the problem of Islam” and the Muslim migrants’ “troubled and reactionary” communities and politics, while simultaneously, relentlessly and forcefully propounding a propagandistic Zionist agenda. Interestingly enough, other immigrants are routinely depicted on these blog pages as being “harmless”, or as “positive contributors to society” – you won’t find Hans Rustad or Harry Place criticizing the Jewish lobbies, the likes of Lord Levy or the Russian oligarchs’ disastrous impact on “Western culture” and “democratic values” any time soon.

Man sets himself on fire outside Breivik trial

An unidentified man set himself on fire Tuesday outside the courthouse where right-wing extremist Anders Behring Breivik is being tried on terror charges for a bombing and shooting massacre on July 22.

Police operations leader Finn Belle told The Associated Press that the man doused himself in a flammable liquid and set himself on fire outside the entrance to the building.

"There were police officers on site and the fire was put out quickly," Belle said. "The man received burn injuries and was transported to Oslo University Hospital."

He said the man's identity and the motive for his actions were not immediately clear.

Police spokesman Kjell Jan Kverme told Norwegian broadcaster NRK that police believe he is a Norwegian citizen "but we don't yet know his identity to 100 percent. He is seriously injured. He has wounds on his chest and stomach."
