Rediscovering Dave Emory

Postby D.R. » Sat Jul 28, 2012 12:06 pm

Somewhere in the course of loading podcasts on my new I-pod I came across Dave Emory's "Spitfire " archive of old radio shows he and Nip Tuck did back in the 80's.
Dave's shows were rebroadcast on KBOO Radio in Portland years ago, and I was so blown away by his information that I bought his "Guns of November" taped series on the Kennedy Assassination.
At the time Dave and my friend Ace Hayes traded a lot of information.

What is striking is that these old broadcasts, begin with the Bolshevik Revolution and the responding emergence of Fascism. From here Dave takes us through CIA mind control and an entire shadow world of spy vs. spy.
The documentation is pretty damned good and while he does draw some conclusions he leaves a lot for the listener to piece together.

Listening today puts these shows in perspective. So far all the shows I have listened to are from the Reagan administration era. Just as Dave points to historical events to make things relevant in the 80's, his work from the 80's makes events today just as relevant. The false flags, the corruption, and the fascist movement as a response to social liberalism.
So much has happened, even since those broadcasts of the 80's, and the same patterns and cycles repeat themselves.
This is the true value of Dave's research.

If the embed works, here's a trailer for a documentary about Dave's work:

And the YouTube link:

Here's the wikipedia page on Dave:

Here's the Spitfire audio archive:

And a more recent archive from WFMU that I haven't tapped into yet:

So far I haven't found his documentary "The Antifascist", so I don't know if production was completed.

None-the-less, hours and hours of informed listening are available for download at the archives

Having not read widely about JFK's assassination, except having read some posts here, and having done a JFK College project over two decades ago, in the 90's I tended to think that Stone's epic JFK was a masterpiece.

But, although it's a fantastic piece of film-making based upon Garrison's own account of the investigation, now i am unsure about it's credibility or accuracy?

Did his offices really get bugged and a staff member betray him?
Did an 'inside man' advise him about black ops etc (Sutherland)?
Were witnesses and cops/agents alike still being 'found dead' as late as the late 70's, or still?

What are the current views by those more learned?

1. His offices were bugged twice. Once by Gordon Novel working for Walter Sheridan and the CIA, and once by the FBI through the local phone company. This is beyond question since we have it through Novel's own words and because William Walter's wife typed the FBI transcripts.

SInce Novel was on is staff at the time, yep he was betrayed. But there were others on his staff who did likewise, like say Bernardo De Torres, Bill Martin, Bill Gurvich, Tom Bethell, and Bill Boxley. In fact, what happened with Boxley is even worse than what Garrison wrote in his book...

His radio shows(and subsequent articles dovetailing with each specific show) dealing with all facets of the September 11th buildup are unrivaled.
