This is a comprehensive piece by William Rivers Pitt which seems to dovetail into what Mike Ruppert talks about regarding a U.S. attack on Iran. There's plenty here to suggest that such an attack would be a significant mistake that could even lead to a world war breaking out of the Middle East -- including China and Russia. Pitt even suggests that the administration might attack Iran simply to divert America's attention from the Abramoff scandals. With this kind of deductive reasoning from Pitt, he surely must realize that the government's story of 9/11 is a lie. And yet, as far as I can tell, he hasn't changed his views -- at least, not publicly. But he's quoting Paul Craig Roberts in this latest piece, and thereby associating himself with Roberts as a credible commentator. And, since Roberts has appeared on the Alex Jones radio shows, one would think that Pitt might want to distance himself from Roberts if indeed Pitt thinks 9/11 conspiracy theorists are full of baloney. <br><br>I'm just wishing people like William Rivers Pitt and others on the left would have the balls to speak up about 9/11. Karl Rove, Bush's most senior advisor, notoriously told Republicans on the ballot during the 2002 midterms to "run on the war." The invasion of Iraq provided marvelous political cover for the GOP not only during those midterms, but during the 2004 Presidential election.<br><br> What kind of political cover would be gained from an attack on Iran, and from the diversion of attention to that attack? The answer lies in one now-familiar name: Jack Abramoff. The Abramoff scandal threatens to subsume all the hard-fought GOP gains in Congress, and the 2006 midterms are less than a year away.<br><br> Is any of this a probability?
