Wow and last weekend was the Nimbin mardi grass.

Tho "just a few cookies" is actually as shitload, if they're made properly. You should always go easy with cookies especially if you aren't into pot. Once you ingest them the only way to lower the dose is to vomit before the THC gets absorbed. By the time you realise you've had too much its usually too late. Better off having half of one till you see how it kicks in.

I love bad trips myself.

Also the party could have been the problem not you and the cookies... not that it matters now. Someone should have told you this before the party.

elfismiles wrote:Agreed on all counts. He's admitted to trying pot but uses the classic "it makes me even MORE paranoid" excuse as to why he doesn't smoke it.

Thats fair enough tho. I used to get paranoid sometimes. I'd make myself go into crowds - peak hour on public transport in melbourne to force myself to get over it. That was interesting. It worked but I was never that paranod. I know people who have stopped smoking cos they really got fucked with by their own paranoia.

There are some people pot fucks with and they don't react well to it. Some lose the plot. I've had disagreements with people here (most of whom I could probably smoke under the table) about the fact that some people have psychotic episodes as a result of smoking. I don't think its a causal thing but its definitely a trigger. Maybe thats the deal with AJ.

Or maybe he sees the darkness in his own soul and can't deal with it. After all imo he is a classic "sell out" and in a field where selling out is slightly more sus than doing so in the mainstream. And he defends Neo-Nazi child killers - hardly a position that you'd want to subject to some serious self analysis.

At home I don't have cable tv and so when on the road / staying at hotels I often end up with the tv on and news channels playing. It seems like every time I do this I am surprised by some AJ apearance.

In 2008 it was him being interviewed by geraldo.

This year ... I have it on CNN and suddenly I hear that gravely voice and it's a commercial that I'd previously only heard on gcn ... That EndOfAmerica58 or some such economic collapse advert. On freaking CNN !!!

Description
Dead Wrong: Straight Facts On The Country's Most Controversial Cover-Ups (hardcover, 306) is the new book by Richard Belzer (actor, Law & Order: S.V.U.) and David Wayne. It features an afterword by Jesse Ventura.

For years, the government has put out hits on people that they found “expendable,” or who they felt were “talking too much,” covering up their assassinations with drug overdoses and mysterious suicides. Dead Wrong investigates how Marilyn Monroe was murdered, that the person who shot Martin Luther King Jr. was ordered to do so by the government, and examines many other terrifying cover-ups throughout our country’s history.

The extensive research shows how our government has taken matters into its own hands, plotting murder whenever it saw fit. “Big Brother” is watching you—through the scope of a sniper rifle. Dead Wrong will give you the straight facts on some of the most controversial and famous deaths this country has ever seen.

The harsh reality is that our government only tells us what we want to hear, as they look out for their own best interests and eliminate anyone who gets in their way.

I didn't think there was anything that Richard Belzer was going to say that I didn't already know, but dang, I've never seen this before.

Excellent recomendation! (- though I haven't watched all of it yet.) His book sounds interesting. (But is it another psyop?)

How come Jesse Ventura, so willing to play along with Fetzer, never addresses the possibility Wellstone was assassinated?

@Jack Riddler: For some reason, as a de facto Minnesotan, Ventura just gets really animated and angry at the idea Wellstone was anything but weather related. Never mind the fact
the co pilot had hung out and known alleged 9/11 hijacker Zacharius Moussaoui.

PsyOps? PsyWar - already here and you are the victims. Wake UP!

Please visit the authors of this film at http://metanoia-films.org/

This film explores the evolution of propaganda and public relations in the United States, with an emphasis on the "elitist theory of democracy" and the relationship between war, propaganda and class.

Includes original interviews with a number of dissident scholars including Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, Michael Parenti, Peter Phillips ("Project Censored"), John Stauber ("PR Watch"), Christopher Simpson ("The Science of Coercion") and others.

I found an interview with the filmaker for those interested - http://v-radioblog.blogspot.com/2010/09 ... noble.html

Yes, I am watching it too now that you posted RB film recommend. I went to the Youtube sight to watch, and in glancing at comments, who do I see? Its our own Starmansyke (has to be, i think) who I was going to quote even before I saw the name:
Although it IS possible to reprogram yourself thru education, reflection, consciousness-raising, ethical reevaluation, information & sketical analysis, to question core precepts & challenge authority. But what has been done to propagandize & condition Americans to repudiate their nation's most hallowed principles & embrace the means of their overt opinion-shaping so they condone the most outrageous war-crimes, brutality, hypocrisy & their enslavement by elites won't easily or quickly be undone

Qualifying himself in saying everything was not a conspiracy, Ventura later dismissed the possibility that Senator Paul Wellstone was killed as a result of his plane being sabotaged as "bullsh***t."

So I guess that's your answer.

And when I began watching the Beltzer!/Walken! video, I could think only of one thing when I thought of Alex!Jones!, and I had to stop watching that to watch this.

I honestly had no idea they were pot cookies. I just was drunk, starving and sometimes have an eating problem. Never cared for the smell or anything related to marijuana or the culture
(tho I am against Obama trying to shut down medical pot shops)

I had to watch The Groove Tube.

Brownies?

The Century of Self described the origins of the Muslim Brotherhood and Qutb in Greeley, Colorado. I found it interesting too.

Oh yes 'Century of Self' is fantastic, imo. I first came across it when it was posted here a few years ago.

Edward Bernays.

AJ mentions him a lot too. He immediately brought Bernays up when 'the Bells' described the doc he had recommended. BTW, I thought it worthwhile to listen to Belzers entire interview.

But again, Century of Self is very interesting. Required viewing, imo!

Pretty good show-

Alex Jones Show Complete (Commercial Free) Tuesday September 11th 2012 - 9/11 Anniversary

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hnLUhYIAVdI

Published on Sep 12, 2012 by AlexJonesComplete
Tuesday September 11th 2012

On the eleventh anniversary of 9/11, Alex covers the current state of the movement and continuing efforts by the establishment and its subservient corporate media to push the official and widely debunked narrative of what happened on that day and who is responsible for the 9/11 attacks.

Alex covers other important news, including the FBI's claim that hackers did not steal the personal identification data on millions of Apple device owners from an agent's laptop and the FBI grilling of a 16-year-old after he posted a Youtube video.

Alex also confronts the threat posed by InfraGard, the dangerous "public-private partnership" shock troops spawned by the FBI.

Ted Anderson drops in to talk about the explosion in the Gold & Silver price. And how it will soon reach new unseen levels.

He also takes your calls.
