I have been that alcoholist, and I did indeed wish I was on the other side of the glass - inside the pub, behind the shiny steamy windows, getting pished with my pals. But I still wanted others to empty their glasses on my behalf, even in my absence, and despite my exclusion. What good does it do me if it's poured away?

I'm nearly finished my vodka now, and am considering a transition to some residual cider. Fucking cider. It doesn't bear thinking about. Even here Laphroaig is expensive. Compromises have to be made.

A toast to the IRL Saloon and my friends. In my life, I've not directly witnessed how communities can take care of each other. It's a bit foreign to me, but my local circle of ne'er-do-well artists and bartenders have tended me well through this time of grinding poverty, so much so that I have had the luxury of periodic mental escapes through otherwise unobtainable substances.

I love you all.

I'm not sure exactly what Project Willow is referring to, but I'd like to take the opportunity to slip some MDMA into the salon. Don't worry- no DEA are present. It's just love and enlightenment, a flicker of enhanced creativity, a deep sigh of profound relaxation. No obligation to take it, but it's here.
A good friend of mine is currently using it successfully (so far) to kick her alcoholism. If only people knew. How good we can feel. When we feed our souls what they want.

Hiya everyone...
I been working long days for a few weeks in a row now, fingers even a lil bit sore from work.
So Im having my prescribed relaxing compounds tonight, may you have what rocks your boat.

But it is true that work well done is a reward in itself.

Hi Gnomad.

Hope you enjoy your time off!

Wish I could indulge in some compounds myself. I'm trying to finish a painting and I can't decide if I'm making a complete wreck of it or whether it can be saved. It's the best kind of work regardless, if one must work on a Saturday.

I'll have a nice cup of tea!

The good brown leaf of the earth hurts me not.

I've been writing poetry.

Anyone want to see some?

I've been drawing too.

And doing an awful lot of writing.

Vast, copious amounts.

I want to be a struggling artist, too!

Correction: I'd rather be a rich, successful artist!

me too. I feel I've accomplished a lot and learned much from the struggling part. On to the rewards already. :D I never wanted to be rich or famous - but I do expect someday to feel secure at least as I look out into the future. Oh how nice would that be????

Oh, watchers.

Lookee here!

This might look like a poem.

But it isn't.

What it is, is a secret.

Ever remember.

Things aren't always what they appear to be.

Still it is a gift from me to you.

I feel generous.

This is in honour of all you Visionary Artists and Rigorous Intuitives.

Praise your Holy Names!

Praise them, yea unto the Highest Heavens!

The Promise

My Heart Will sing, my Heart Will dance,
When very soon by lucky Chance
The Towr'ing Watcher, oh so Grand
Shalt gaze upon the Promised Land.

Her Art Supreme, I do attest
Wilt surely pass of Time the Test.
Furthermore, mine Eye doth see,
Reward aplenty - pecuniary!

Now a Riddle I to thee Gift,
I hope it giveth thee a Lift;
Who Recks the Truth that's deemed Unreckable?
Who is The Watcher so Impeccable?

I just threw my beer on a man. He was an old friend and once, briefly, a paramour. He chose tonight to tell me he thinks I am (?) insane? a liar? I don't know. He doesn't believe me. I told him to go to hell. I screamed that he and every other fucking denialist on the planet could go to hell and I walked out.

I made a big scene. I may not be able to go back to the Saloon, well, I don't really think that, but I have to say, I have less and less room for any one in my life who doesn't believe me. I'm tired of pretending to be one of the folks. I'm tired.

Me too Willow.

I'm tired of everyone thinking i'm insane.

Bah.

The world is insane.

I am the sanest man alive.

Wait till you see my Ode to Thoth-Hermanubis.

It's a corker.

Multiple personalities may be unintegrated past life memory soul recollections.

I understand that trauma can weaken the bonds of ignorance.

And of course, other spirits may gather around a person for a variety of reasons.

You need the ears to hear.

I have a giant neon clit in my living room and now, it is lit!

:yay

I've been so broke, I couldn't afford to buy a transformer for it. Just today the artist said she found some lying around her shop and brought one over and installed it for me.

:yay

I am bathed in a pink light, and you can see it through my windows driving up 4th Ave, and I am having a party Thursday!

:yay

Coolest. Thing. EVAR.

I love when good stuff happens.
