I was 4 or 5, and I'm doing alright, relatively.

This looks like another MC vic spinning a crazy screen mem story. His age, the fact that he was a kid, and the bit about the presidents are tells. Yes, you're right, it's a possibility to take seriously. "The Search for the Manchurian Candidate" is on my desk, recently finished, and from a today perspective it clearly only scratched the surface, or delivered the original limited hangout (properly defined as a forced partial disclosure, in that case truthful in detail but with omissions, in the hope of avoiding full disclosure).

I could easily believe that this is a case of organized abuse and screen memories.

I'm sure it's a better "keyword hijack" media example than Looper (as in, a more well-crafted tale, not more likely), but I just watched "Sound of My Voice" last night. It was a great example of another piece of cinema mixing many Rigorous Intuition-style topics: time travel, cults, journalism, and delusional tantra, amongst others — with one of the best endings I've seen in many years. It was far more complex and effective than Another Earth, the last film that Brit Marling wrote and starred in.

Then again, perhaps this guy was paid to promote Looper.

Oh my god, she wrote that movie? Another Earth, I mean. I loved it, but I didn't even ask myself who wrote it. Co-wrote and co-produced. I will take your recommendation on Sound of My Voice.

Image

Date of Birth
7 August 1982, Chicago, Illinois, USA

Birth Name
Brittany Heyworth Marling

Mini Biography

Brit Marling graduated from Georgetown University, with a bachelor's in economics, and was offered a job with Goldman Sachs, which she turned down in favour of a career as an artist.

She moved to Los Angeles to act and, after spending a couple of years exploring the movie industry and being offered roles as "the cute blonde in horror movies", she taught herself to write, reasoning that the best way to get decent parts was to write them, herself. She worked on two movies, simultaneously - one in the mornings, one in the afternoons - and eventually both Another Earth (2011) and Sound of My Voice (2011) premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2011.

This reminds of the time I was playing football on a muddy pitch in Glasgow at the age of nine and a Washington attorney appeared to me and told me I would never play for Celtic. Amazingly, he was right. Or he might not have been a Washington attorney. Maybe he was just an old drunk. There was no way of telling.

Alternatively, I may just have imagined the whole thing.

in this interview she presses him on the similarities to the Montauk Project stories, around 0:45:00

and yeah, all these stories seem to involve kidnapped kids, brainwashing, etc

this lawyer fellow seems to have been on another "track" though - his dad got him involved it sounds like.

oh, and he's IS thinking of suing the producers of Fringe due to them stealing stuff from his material.

An old friend of mine (also a program survivor) fell hook, line and sinker for Basiago's claims a few years back, so I looked into the articles about him that were online then and came to the same conclusion that's mentioned above--he's likely a survivor of some kind of childhood mental experimentation. And he may (or may not) be being used as a disinfo vector. His story was then being promoted by a really dodgy character whose name escapes me—horrible writer with a weakness for mid-Victorian purple prose. But the article somehow made it into a major Bay Area newspaper, which I found even stranger than Basiago’s sensational story.

I'll have to see solid proof that he brought back verifiable evidence of his time travels before I'll believe he's actually done it. As a child and up into my 20's, I was prone to something I called "time-slipping" where I felt really strange, then saw the scene in front of me as it would be just a couple of minutes into the future. Every single episode like this produced evidence that was shortly verified and several were witnessed by other people.

One of those witnesses was a man who had all the hallmarks of being intel-connected–evidence to me that this was an ability that at least one Cold War program was seeking to exploit in the 1950--70’s. So poor Basiago's claims may be truthful on his part...as far as he knows. Or he could be a scalawag who's fantasizing his way to seizing his 15 minutes of fame...?

I do find it slightly odd that much of the claims of these time travel 'whistleblowers' is presented years earlier in this semi-rare Peter Fonda movie...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idaho_Transfer
Release date(s) 15 June 1973
(may have been written in '71. looks to be the only writing credit to one "Thomas Matthiesen")

Plot summary

Teenager Karen Braden (Kelley Bohanon) is a troubled mental hospital outpatient who is taken by her father George and sister Isa to a government facility near the Craters of the Moon lava fields in Idaho. The project there was commissioned to develop matter transference, but made a different discovery: time travel. They also discovered that a mysterious ecological catastrophe will soon wipe out civilization.

The time travel process has negative health effects, though. Adults "not much older than 20" are unable to survive for long, as their kidneys hemorrhage shortly after the experience. So the scientists decide to only send young people 56 years into the future so they can build a new civilization.

After the government takes over the project, the transfer machines are turned off, trapping a large number of project members in the future. Now trapped, they begin exploring the future world.

note: this is a British print of the movie, where apparently it was titled "deranged"

This seems to have come a few years, but not many, after the first murmurs from the Montauk Project stuff started coming out...

A U.S. military experiment opens a portal to an unknown place. After sending through one team, the Army calls upon a career soldier (John Beck) to investigate, where he finds an idyllic planet. He has to decide whether to stay or go back to his old life.

far more recently...
and... In addition to his writings, Preston Nichols (the originator of the Montauk Project story) has also appeared in a music video which portrays an instance of time travel he experienced. Not a bad song...

I don't blame the guy for wanting to time-travel away from that shithole that is Vancouver, WA.

He could've just gone across the bridge to Portland though.

Post-2012 Earth Changes
A Global Climate Change Remote-Viewing Study
Multiple Realities, Timelines, and Events

Introduction: We at The Farsight Institute are currently engaged in a fascinating study using remote viewing to study climate and planetary change between the years 2008 and 2013. The initial results appear dramatic on a global scale, and our research does indeed suggest that major global change is a possibility between now and 2013. However, web site visitors are reminded that this is research, not certitude. Remember what Albert Einstein once said, "If we knew what we were doing, it wouldn't be called research, would it?" Web site visitors are encouraged to examine all of our results carefully, and learn with us as we complete this experiment in mid-2013. We will not fully understand these remote-viewing data until the experiment is completed at that time. Importantly, this experiment has no connection with the Mayan Calendar hysteria related to 21 December 2012. This is an experiment that ends on 1 June 2013, and the data will be fully evaluated only after that date. Also, note that these analyses are the product of the Chief Investigator for this project, Courtney Brown. Other investigators using other methods of analyses may analyze these data and come to different conclusions. HRVG and CRV methods of analysis in particular tend to be more nuanced than some of the analyses presented below.

How we obtain these results is a bit complicated, but it is worth the effort to understand our methods. The actual types of global change is discussed in the second part of the video presentation below, but the first part of this presentation is absolutely essential to understand how these results were obtained. Web site visitors should watch both parts of the video presentation. This presentation was given during the 29th Annual Meeting of the Society for Scientific Exploration in Boulder, Colorado in June 2010.

This is the most carefully collected set of professional-grade remote-viewing data involving this time span that currently exists. This experiment is potentially one of the most significant experiments ever attempted using remote viewing as a data-collection platform.

Interesting theory that he was fucked with as a kid as part of an experiment. I can just see the post-docs dreaming it up: "Hey, let's do a study to see what effects, if any, tricking people into thinking they've traveled backward in time would have." I had just assumed he was either mentally ill, or a garden-variety bullshit artist trying to cash in on the prestige associated with his law degree.

Everything we experience already happened because our brains and sensory organs have a buffer associated with perceiving and processing information that makes up our perception of reality, that operates on a multi-nano-second delay.
