Out of curiosity.. does anyone feel that they know what the symbols mean?
I don't mean where they come from or how they're formed, just what information they're conveying.

crop formations

Postby need a name » Thu Aug 11, 2005 11:57 am

aaahhh, wtf do they mean??? Wish I could read them!!!
It's got to be some sort of mathematical message..... that someone understands! Are any mathematicians seriously trying to understand these?

Taking them at face value- it appears as if a non-human intelligence is attempting to attract our notice.

I'm about out of other explanations.

Maybe they're just trying to tell us to pay attention? Or, to let us know they're here? Who knows?
Has there ever been any scientific study of the plants and earth surrounding these formations after they've been discovered?

ewit :)

Don't farmers make mazes?
I don't see how this is extraterrestrial, unless there's weird residue or something.

Apparently, there are microscopic spheres of iron found in the soil and on the plants themselves in some formations.

theconversation.org/booklet2.html

ewit :)

Are the spheres of iron a natural phenomena that occur in some other contexts? Meteor strikes maybe?
www.wildsmithgallery.com/...micro.html
Thanks for the link ewit.

Edited by: jpastoor at: 8/11/05 1:10 pm

Meteorites - yes! Here's a link that links meteorites to the formation of the circles.

www.bltresearch.com/semi-molten.html

The Perseid meteor shower happens right about this time every year! Heh, I was asking to validate whether I'm a total freak or not. A large percentage of the one's I've seen, I either get a creepy feeling like I'm supposed to know but forgot, or can flat out say what they are.
i.e. the one with the cow/horse-like picture as the nucleus of a carbon molecule..
Some appear to be downright graffitti, but there's a lot that I think are molecular structures for fuel, basic laws of physics, and "best time to travel" maps depicting events in our solar system.

There's a few that I just have no feeling toward, but a few of those were admitted to be hoaxes.

for example (borrowed from same lucypringle site) :

a table of square roots of -1 in four dimensions.

a simple crystal lattice, probably lithium.

and anybody who's ever dropped two stones in a pond should recognize this:

standard wave interference pattern. applies to all sorts of 4d waves (such as sound)

Aliens

Postby monster » Thu Aug 11, 2005 4:55 pm

are stupid. I hate them. What good does it do to put pictures in our fields? How is that helpful?

If they exist they should introduce their damn selves already; or else get the hell out and stop abducting people and killing cows and flying around in the sky and acting so effing childish.

It's like when Jesus appears in a tortilla or something and people call it a miracle and I think, well gee thanks God, there's nothing but death and despair and a self-destructing civilization down here but you found the time to appear on a tortilla, that's really effing helpful, you stupid moron.

...

Heh, I was asking to validate whether I'm a total freak or not.

You might be at the wrong site if that's the validation yer fishin' fer (heh). Identity? It's
in the stars.
Cool photos. tx for the link.

Since serious records began in the late 1970's, it is estimated that between 4/5000 have been noted. However many escape notice as farmers are reluctant to report them.

Over the years not only have the numbers increased but also the complexity. Scholars of the arcane liken the shapes to Celtic, astrological and astronomical symbols, whilst others see pure examples of medical, musical, engineering or biological forms. Each year has produced its own masterpieces.

There is no doubt the mathematical and geometric precision is huge and awesome. The shapes have progressed from five, six and sevenfold geometry to elevenfold in 2000 and thirteenfold in 2001; we have now moved from elementary to university standard maths. Latterly the completely unambiguous "Face" and the "Arecibo message" formations at Chilbolton, Hampshire were a totally new departure, having no mathematical basis and the images depicted in standing instead of fallen crop.

How are they made?

Are they miracles or works of the Devil? Are they all man made or is there an unknown intelligence working behind the scenes? Could they be made by atmospheric conditions such as plasma vortices or could the spinning blades of hovering helicopters be held responsible? Could they be the result of whirling dervishes, rutting hedgehogs or imprints left by UFO's?

The fact that these forms simultaneously represent perfect aspects of many disciplines could lend credence to the participation of an external intelligence. Alternatively could they be manifestations of our own subconscious?

Where is research leading us?

Whereas we have no definitive answer to this enigma as yet, there is increasing scientific evidence that when the `force` hits the target there is a huge electrical discharge measuring hundreds of thousands of volts per metre lasting a nanosecond, which in the case of crops, softens the plants at the base allowing them to fall: this `force` then traveling upwards breaks down the molecular structure inside the stems. When the `force` is too great it escapes through expulsion cavities in the nodes along the stems. The effect is similar to a baked potato exploding in a microwave oven when the energy is excessive.

It has also been found repeatedly that the seeds collected from inside a formation germinate faster and need less water than those gathered from outside the formation.

From my findings to date it would appear that research should be based in the infrared, microwave area of the electromagnetic spectrum and the latest results indicate that the endocrine system and the pineal gland are being affected whilst tests on brain activity have consistently shown Alpha blocking whilst inside the formations. More research is needed to evaluate the link between these subtle energies and living systems.

Close to 600 personal reports have been amassed from people, describing the effects of electromagnetic fields on living matter, i.e.: humans and animals, also the malfunction of electrical and mechanical instruments, after visiting crop formations or being in their vicinity.
