Thanks for the input Mr. Chalker and everyone

Postby Seventhson » Wed Aug 24, 2005 2:16 am

I guess the real question I end up with oiver and over again is how much credibility to give to any of this.

Is it possible that our government has been engaged in advancxed dna cloning experiments that could lead to this? If these are human dna then the "perpetrator" was seemingly human.

And to what end was the "assault"? The extraction of dna or semen.

I guess I'll need to read the book for answers to all that -- but the nagging question, like Mulder in the X Files -- is this some kind of government or secret government controlled operation? From Strieber's experiences to the relatively recent "hag" assault -- the one described in your book, I imagine.

I am just putting the elements together in this puzzle and so probably need reminding of things that just don't stick in my soggy aging brain --- or teaching about those things I just haven't been able to absorb yet even though I have read them.

Are we being harvested? For good or for evil, if we are? Are the "visitors" in collusion with the BFEE? Could Streiber be?

God - I have no idea what the answerrs are to any of these questions and I am not even sure what the right questions are. But the subject, like Jung's synchronicities, is fascinating and -- if for no other reason than that some people believe they have experienced them (even if Strieber is making his story up as he goes along -- AND I do wish Mr. Chalker would weigh in on THAT question) - the study of the phenomenon of the reporting of such incidents as "archetypal" or manifestations of the symbology and construct of the unconscious - is worthy of pursuit.

I never imagined that we would get the author of "Hair of the Alien" here discussing his findings when I posted my question about Streiber - and so I am very grateful for your response, Mr. Chalker, and glad I posited the inquiry generally so that others here were roused to find you and bring you here.

This is an incredible blogsite and board and it has the potential over time to reach millions and to do a lot of good because jeff Wells is a good soul whose concern is for humanity. With no guile or deceit whatsoever that I can detect.

If there are in fact hybrids and genetically altered beings harvesting our semen and eggs (or simply destroying them) for whatever prupose --- and if this may be an integral part of the BFEE fascist machinery that grew out of the Holcoaust experiments in Auschwitz and Dachau or wherever --- AND it might be related to the Ritual Abuse "phenomena" by the same perpetrators --- then I think it is critical to keep open minds and keep scrutinizing the evidence and experiences with care.
and maybe a boatload of scepticism to maintain our objectivity.

Fascinating stuff.

How will I ever sleep?

(I know! Exhaustion!)

G'Night!

The aliens saving us

Postby sparkinthedark » Wed Aug 24, 2005 3:24 am

I have also thought about Whitley for years. I am reading "The Key" right now and find it fascinating and full of crap at the same time and in sequence. I've started it several times and given up each time but I'm back at it now. In this book the visitor says we can only save ourselves if we really WANT it. They can't save us from extinction. We have to change ourselves from the inside with meditation and hard work, then make the change. I feel that Strieber is trying to wake us up to the danger. MAybe he is crazy, but I don't think so. I think he has been through things we can only imagine and because of his he doesn't suffer fools. I'll keep reading and guessing, but I think he has a lot to teach.

Excerpt from Strieber's awesome/exasperating article 8-05

Postby Seventhson » Wed Aug 24, 2005 9:33 am

For those who want a little taste of the article. The connections alleged between Guy Bannister and another suspect of Garrison's in the JFK assassination makes the Lervenda book look pretty interesting.

Had Kennedy lived, this world would almost certainly be a very different place. Kennedy was about to withdraw from Vietnam. He was interested in bringing the CIA to an end. He sought to lead us to look up, to ascend into space, to take our place among the stars. Since his death, there has been no visionary president. In fact, we have endured a long succession of mediocrities, madmen, hypocrites and egotists, as worthless a lot of human rubbish as has been served up to the leadership of a great nation since the later emperors floundered through the palaces of Rome.

We have come, thus, to where we are now: at the edge of a horrendous, uncontrollable environmental catastrophe, led by the grandson of a Nazi who has replace those monstrous ideals of population control by war and murder with a religious extremism that will turn out to amount to the same thing.

We stand, all of us, upon the gallows with the noose about our necks. And, unseen, strange things happen in the environment, inexplicable things, that suggest that somebody with greater scientific knowledge is working subtly to bring the energies of nature to bear against us even as forces within our own society—forces also instigated by them and under their control—conspire to render us helpless in the face of the “natural” disaster that is on the way. The environment is collapsing much faster than any scientist, in his worst nightmares, imagined that it would just a few years ago. Too much is going wrong at once. The north polar cap is melting at a completely unprecedented rate. The Gulf Stream is about to become detached from its essential heat pump, with unknown consequences. As this is being written, a million people are evacuating the coast of China as a typhoon of extraordinary power races ashore. Summer melt in Greenland is appalling. Fires are burning in drought-ridden Portugal, Spain and North Africa even as India endures a monsoon gushing rain beyond imagining. New York has seen its hottest summer ever by a fantastic and frightening 5.5 degrees, and there is a massive, inexplicable swarming of fish, crabs and other marine life off the Gulf coast of Florida.

A few days ago, shrimp, crab, grouper, snapper, red fish and flounder, sea robins, needlefish and eels were observed moving southward in a column in eighteen inches of water off the coast at Englewood, Florida. This is not a known or understood phenomenon, and is in need of explanation, but it will not be explained, it will be ignored and forgotten as was the sudden blast of freezing cold water that appeared on beaches from New Jersey to central Florida two summers ago, when a sudden, fortunately temporary, weakening of the Gulf Stream enabled cold northern waters to penetrate halfway to the equator. The worst, and strangest, imbalance is taking place off the coast of the US Pacific Northwest, where water temperatures have risen so high and so fast that plankton has died back, breaking the food chain at is foundation and leading to vast starvation of life across the whole area. The odd thing is that this ocean heating has no obvious cause. It is not a direct effect of wind borne heat. It is not coming from warmer waters to the south. In fact, south of the heated area, the waters are cooler. It has, however, caused the marine cloud layer that normally keeps the Pacific Northwest cool to disappear, meaning that areas used to cool, damp and cloudy summers are suddenly being exposed to continental heat, the cities are breaking heat and drought records, and the forest is turning into a deadly tinderbox. If fire breaks out in this dense, isolated and ancient forest, thickly packed with brush and trees, it will be among the most horrendous forest fires seen in this era of great fires.

Meanwhile, the sun remains stubbornly active long after the solar minimum should have begun, and the earth’s magnetic field proceeds into the early stages of pole shift, a process that will bring it into chaos over the next few hundred years, with unknown consequences.
Despite all this and more, the US administration conducts itself as if nothing was happening, and fails to provide the leadership that could even now at least reduce the manmade aspects of the disaster and perhaps buy us a little time. Instead, it has conducted a spectacularly ineffectual war against terrorism, and perhaps used aspects of terror attacks or even let them happen, to distract the public and keep us fearful and eager to support its authority, in exactly the same way the unpopular leader Adolf Hitler did when he engineered the burning of the German parliament, the Reichstag.

Yeah, Pan....he mentioned something about all the technology in his body in the essay under discussion here. Hey, it's nice, but mind showing us the xrays? There is actually a surgeon who is pulling these things out of people. His results are interesting, though I don't think he's gotten anything conclusive enough to even get the mainstream interested at all.

Anyway, as to Levenda's book...somewhere on here I had a kind of review. It's an interesting book though his writing style is kinda hard to follow. He goes off on tangents and he has the habit of introducing a huge number of people right off the bat, some of whom don't figure in the narrative till later in the chapter and you've forgotten who they are!

And, despite appearing in Strieber's essay, Levenda has no interpretation yet of why all these things are going on. (Maybe he will in later volumes). Right now, he suggests there are forces out there people are messing with and maybe not even understanding and also that the level of coincidence goes even beyond a chain of "cause and effect". These coincidences, in his view, are more like things happening at different levels.

My personal favorite such "coincidence" he points out was where RFK, before the speech in which he's shot by probably Manchurian Candidate, Sirhan Sirhan, dines with and is brought to the speech by....the director of the movie, Manchurian Candidate.

He's not suggesting that this director was involved in the plot, but he's not suggesting it has no meaning either.

Everyman

Postby Avalon » Wed Aug 24, 2005 1:59 pm

Yeah, that Everyman quality is a big part of him too. And you can't take away the fact that he's taken this scary lemon and made lemonade. He puts a lot of effort into trying to deal with this and make sense of it, even if we don't all feel he does a particularly good job. Kind of reminds me of the Dreyfus character in the Close Encounters movie.

There's always a balance with talking about the horrible things going on in this world, and it's really hard to achieve. It's the tipping point between consciousness-raising and educating about big changes that are needed in attitude and action on one hand, and on the other hand the chance that you scare people into paralysis or have them blow you off because their cognitive dissonance (or their perceived self-interest) kicks in.

I realized I had his 1995 book Breakthrough in a pile, and thumbed through it last night. I was particularly taken by what Whitley's brother said to him (p.128 in the hardcover ed.) after his own encounter with a Visitor:

"...unlike you, I don't enjoy being terrified."

HIV immunity

Postby robertdreed » Wed Aug 24, 2005 2:02 pm

I don't like saying this, but to me, the fact that it's recently been found that some European populations carry a high frequency of HIV-immune resistant genes tends to lend support to the idea that HIV is a bio-engineered ethno-specific virus, meant to target non-white populations.

One wouldn't expect that an early-model prototype bioengineered virus would work in a foolproof, clear-cut manner along ethnic lines- only that a marked statistical advantage be conferred for the "preferred" genotypes. Given that the route of transmission for HIV is seral, a further advantage of "socialized environmental immunity" is conferred on those populations that have access to the most sanitary conditions of health care and personal hygiene- i.e., places where "single-use syringes" and other medical implements actually do get discarded after a single use- i.e., the "developed world", largely populated by people of European ancestry.

Under the circumstances, it would also be helpful to look for the converse effect in some particularly afflicted ethnic groups- that the virus be comparatively more virulent and communicable than the statistical mean. I don't pretend to know enough about virology/epidemiology to say whether such skewing is rare or unique to HIV, or if there are other analogous examples...the fact that the HIV resistance characteristic is correlated to a given genotype set's historic smallpox and bubonic plague exposure is also provocative, because it makes for an ideal starting point for an ethnospecific engineering project.

If you'll allow me to continue with this admittedly paranoid line of inquiry, I just have one data point to add, significance unknown-

The first case of HIV-AIDS in the USA was traced to Haiti, no?

From Joseph Page's biography of Juan Peron, page 362:

...Another visitor of note to the island [ of Hispaniola, where former Argentine leader Peron was enjoying itinerant exile in 1958, en route to his eventual destination, Madrid ] was Hans-Ulrich Rudel, the World War 2 Luftwaffe ace, who arrived in Cuidad Trujillo with a proposal from the German construction firms he represented to build hospitals in the Dominican Republic...

I've wondered about that, ever since I first read it- Rudel, a known neo-Nazi, selling a hospital project to a poor, non-white, mostly black 3rd World country in the Western hemisphere...

Don't get me wrong, I'm by no means sold on the idea that HIV-AIDS is the result of a biowarfare project. But I'm glad I have a place to at least bring up such "unthinkable" conjectures, without being hooted down with derision.

Edited by: robertdreed at: 8/24/05 12:30 pm

OLD HAG ATTACK

Postby jonny » Wed Aug 24, 2005 5:13 pm

I have had at least two peculiar experiences at night that I can vividly remember, one of which fits roughly within the notion of an attack by a strange female - the other was simply an attack and lacked the same sense of sexual excitement.

I'm pretty sure too that I've had multiple episodes like this and i did do some research in to it a while back where I found a reasonable amount of literature and discussion about what was being called 'The Old Hag Attack'. Within this literature there was a pretty compelling scientific explanation to do with psychogogic/pompic trance states as one slips between wakefulness and sleep and vice versa.

Also, I vaguely recall that both episodes that I'm now remembering occurred at times of high stress for me. That's FWIW.

In the first experience I was aware of being assaulted by a female 'creature' while I was somewhere between sleep and wakefulness one night. I think it was actually early morning.

In the second I had just moved in to a new room in a house share in a new town where I'd begun a new job. It was my first night in the house and, as one does, I was sleeping on a strange bed in a strange room. In this instance I was basically attacked and beaten by an invisible entity though this time I believe that I was awoken by the attack and so experienced it 'live' so to speak. The ever so slightly chilling aspect of this second event was that a vivid part of the experience was that whatever it was that was attacking me was, at one point, holding me on the bed where I lay and repeatedly punching me in the back by bringing blows up through the wooden slats of the bed and through the mattress. It gets chilling because upon 'coming to' from the experience, terrified, I hauled the mattress from the bed to find that the bed was indeed a wooden slatted bed and not, as I'd supposed, a wire mesh bed frame. It was the first slatted bed frame I'd ever slept on.

Needless to say, I never slept in the room again and, in fact, moved in with friends in the same city the following afternoon after playing out a complicated game which involved getting my friend to come with me to pack up my belongings as I didn't want to tell him of my experience but also, I didn't want to be alone in the house either.
