Tapping the nose to indicate a shared secret is a common gesture, not at all connected to mind control topics per se.

From wiki;

Touching or tapping the side of the nose with the index finger means "we share a secret". It is of British origin and then was popularized in America by the movie The Sting.

Quite innocent, popular and commonly understood hand gesture.

It's not secret illuminati code or anything.

...

Who in the fuck said anything about an Illuminati code? If people like Kerry or Feinstein are secretly gesturing "we share a secret" as they are talking about war, financial collapse, climate change, or whatever...would you not like to know what the fucking secret is and who they could possibly be sharing it with? I'm not sure how popular or commonly understood the gesture is. And in the context of a presidential debate or a Foreign Relations Committee hearing, I'm definitely not sure how "quite innocent" it is.

Some things can't be found unless you're strange enough to think of looking for them.

Can't any gesture be adopted by a group as a signal?

Sorry, I'm not going to re-dedicate my life to becoming an investment banker just so that I can one day join the Freemasons and work my way up their ladder high enough all in order to find out 25 years from now whether my intuition about secret signals disguised as certain semi-innocuous/semi-conspicuous gestures is on the money or not. Or however one might verify or falsify it to your satisfaction.

p.s. Is this still the message board for Rigorous Intuition?

Kerry must be lurking on RI. He touches finger to nose twice in the first 16 seconds:

Oh, indeed. Prime specimen, for real. The best ones do often involve a solemn nod to the Coup of '63.

Realize that I have been noticing (to myself) this coded tic/mannerism since at least the '96 presidential debates. There is not just a handful of good examples to be found. There are hundreds. More than hundreds, maybe. If the C-SPAN online archives could be searched for the term "suspicious nose tap", and all the appropriate instances were found, the results might number in the thousands.

Edit: Not that all of them would be such a coded signal, just that they could be categorized as suspicious. I'm sure at least half of the hundreds of nose taps I've noticed over the years have simply been involuntary swipes from nerves or whatever. But the rest?

Whoa. That's a good one. The "Intervention". Yeah, ok. Hadn't heard that one before.

Yeah, some people do it consciously though, like being all up in your face saying, "Yeah, I'm lyin' my ass off and there's not a damn thing you can do about it!"
