Distress: Police take away a woman near the home of 'suspect 2' Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on Norfolk Street

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev posted online he will 'kill everyone because we killed his brother', according to a dispatcher in Watertown.

Explosions were heard at a Boston home this morning as police continue to hunt for a marathon bombing suspect and another possible accomplice.

Two people, one believed to be the mother of the men, have been taken into custody at the home in Cambridge where the brothers grew up but are not considered suspects. The home is surrounded by FBI and the bomb squad is on the scene.

Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.
They could still get him out of office.
But instead, they want mass death.
Don’t forget that.

Those of you who remember the Reddit furry...what that guy said, maybe.

What did the furry say? From just the other night? Too many threads flying around, it's hard to keep the knots sorted.

Also, it's interesting that the FBI admit to having contacted and interviewed the older brother (at the behest of a foreign government). In conjunction with what the mother said; she sounds a lot more believable now. The only thing suspect about the mother's statements are, how could she be sure that she'd been talking to the FBI? Does the FBI usually go overseas like that? How well could a southern Russian identify agents accurately? How easy would it be to fake being an FBI agent to a Russian woman? A lot more could be going on.

I was wondering this too at first but another article seems to say that their parents immigrated in 2002 and then the father got sick and they returned home. The mother was arrested last year for shoplifting so she is probably talking about the FBI visiting them while in the states. Although the aunt says she brought the brothers over. I assume the aunt in the video is not the wife of the uncle who siad they were losers. Very interested to read through the Sibel Edmonds info. Thanks for that. As usual, all of you are awesome :yay

ETA: This article just popped up. Explains their history and family relations pretty well:

Students Saw Dzhokhar Tsarnaev On UMass-Dartmouth Campus After Bombings VIDEOS
April 19, 2013 2:09 PM

DARTMOUTH (CBS) – The UMass Dartmouth campus was evacuated on Friday out of an abundance of caution after the school learned that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, one of the Boston Marathon bombings suspects, was a sophomore there and lived on campus.

University officials confirmed that Tsarnaev lived in a dorm on campus.

Fellow students described Tsarnaev as both a “pothead” and a soccer fanatic. Two of his classmates told WBZ-TV that he was on the soccer team, but missed practice on Monday and they hadn’t heard from him since.

Two other students, however, said they had seen him on campus after the bombings – once on Tuesday, and once on Wednesday.

One student actually asked him for a ride home because he lived in the same Cambridge area as the student.

That student said Tsarnaev agreed to give him a ride.

Students said Tsarnaev had a reputation as being a terrible driver and some were afraid to ride around campus with him.

He was also described as quiet and studious. Classmates say he never talked politics.

UMass Dartmouth Chancellor Dr. Divina Grossman released this statement Friday afternoon:

“The Boston Marathon tragedy has touched our University in many ways. On Tuesday, we drew strength from a campus vigil that attracted hundreds of people in remembrance of the victims, and today we learned that a suspect is one of our students. We closed and evacuated the campus to assure the safety of our students, faculty and staff.

“The safety of our campus is always our top priority. I want to thank all of the law enforcement personnel for their courageous and professional response. I also want to commend our students, faculty and staff for their calm and orderly actions during this very difficult situation. We will provide more information as we are able.”

Marathon Bombing Suspect Surrounded In Watertown Minutes After Lockdown Lifted
April 19, 2013 8:00 PM

WATERTOWN (CBS) – Minutes after Massachusetts State Police announced that they had completed their door-to-door search in Watertown without locating Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, a hail of gunfire was heard.

WBZ-TV’s Jim Armstrong was in the area of Franklin Street around 6:50 p.m. when he heard what he described as 15-20 seconds of rapid gunfire. He was forced to take cover, and was quickly moved back by police.

Boston Mayor Tom Menino confirmed to WBZ-TV that police had surrounded bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev inside a boat in the backyard of a home. Sources say that a man called police to report finding blood by the boat.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030 reported that authorities were able to confirm there was a person inside by using a thermal camera from a helicopter.

TIMELINE | PHOTOS | VIDEO

On the ground, Armstrong described a flurry of police activity that erupted moments after police wrapped up a press conference in which they lifted a day-long lockdown in Watertown, Boston and several surrounding communities.

Police were seen carrying small children to safety. Because the lockdown had been lifted, there were people out on the streets when the gunfire started.

Additional loud bangs were heard around 7:50 p.m. – approximately one hour after the first gunshots were heard in the neighborhood.

Just to add a little "levity" and meant for fourthbase. I just came up with a joke as the Broncos and Patriots will be squaring off in NE this season and I just read the schedule.

Authorities announce the terrorist, Josh McDaniels ex-Denver Broncos and embattled head coach and now offensive coordinator of the New England Patriots was apprehended from the boat.

Anyway, back to topic. Sorry. Just sprung to mind. :partyhat

The situation is being handled by FBI HRT, not sure if the negotiator is there yet.

Edit:
Globe photographer can hear police say, "We know you're in there. Come out on your own terms. Come out with your hands up."

Not directed to you, but: Sorry to disappoint anyone who wishes to masturbate over martial law scare-porn, but not every neighborhood was being checked home-by-home. Almost all of the serious activity was in two places, Watertown and one section of Cambridge. Yes, the rest of us were told to stay home, the MBTA was shut down, etc. But this isn't really The Seige. 9/11 was more like that movie. This is just everyone save two places staying home to let the po-po catch a mass murderer who was still reportedly extremely dangerous. Yes, it looks crazy here, to you. Yes, it is crazy, to us. But not doom-crazy. So, those of you who dig the doom, quit that shit for the time being.

But then again, I'm only on the South Shore. Braintree, specifically.

Just trying to get a feel for what this "lockdown" was all about and its extensiveness. Thanks for your answer. That's what I figured. I for one, am just trying to get my head around the portents of this pornographication by the media and why it seems to be "gripping" the country. It seems like a test run for something else. Not just one event, but seeing if the interchangeable parts work on a permanent basis -- from populace to police to military to private firms. I personally feel doomed in my own ways, not projecting my doom unto you, just what this wall to wall coverage nationwide portends for us as a whole.

Edit to add:

Bro, if this isn't a mass exercise to get a public sentiment of normalcy at this "martial law scare-porn" give me a better example.

Here's what I'm saying, and what I said above: There's a huge difference probably, between what's really going on here, and what may appear to be going on to those watching national news, reading InfoWars, or focusing on one or another set of photos, etc. Read the definition of confirmation bias someone posted. If you are intent on seeing a terrifying escalation of the police state, that may be just what you get, because that's what you see. Meanwhile, the people actually here are sending each other lolcat pics to pass the time, itching to get a regular iced coffee at Dunkie's, and also keeping a vigilant eye on the news. Locking their doors, yes. Thankful for the cops, yes. (How many innocent bystanders have been injured, versus the Dorner fiasco?) But no fucking way will we, us in Boston, home of the fearless, be cowed into surrendering our civil rights. For a day, we stay home. Tomorrow, we share a pitcher at the bar. Don't let the scare-porn creators on CNN etc. let you believe otherwise.

LOL 82_28!

They had 3 or 4 different guys dressed exactly like them, probably just to fuck with the cops and the cops still didn't shoot up anyones grandma. Pretty good by comparison.
