Wonder whether he means <a href="http://rigorousintuition.blogspot.com/2005/10/colour-out-of-space.html">THE Nine</a>? Saw it mentioned tonight on <a href="http://godlikeproductions.com/bbs/message.php?messageid=204395&mpage=1&showdate=1/27/06&PHPSESSID=db23c2dabe3fb1959f0032f269a3ef8d">GLP</a>, and found this link on <a href="http://www.unknowncountry.com/news/?id=3664">UnknownCountry</a>, from 2004: Musician Sammy Hagar has admitted having close encounters with apparent aliens. Over the years, we've received letters from and met many famous people who've told us privately that the same thing happened to them, but none of them have been willing to go public. It takes courage to stand up to the ridicule of the media, and we're glad Hagar has it.... Blabbermouth.net quotes Hagar as saying, "It's been a long, long time, but back in about '68, in Fontana, California, I had this unbelievable experience…I'm a firm believer—have seen, have felt, have been contacted three or four different times. I have received information that has been valuable in my life from those people, and they have used me. I'm gonna sound like a complete nut here, but they have used me in an experimental fashion. The easiest way to put it is that they downloaded my brain information. When I was about 19 or 20, they downloaded everything that was in my head. And I caught 'em doin' it! I woke up in the middle of the night, thinkin', 'What's goin' on?' They were like, 'Oh, my god, he's waking up!' But this was all telepathy—there were no words being spoken. And as soon as I woke up—it was probably three o'clock in the morning—my whole room was so bright that I could hardly keep my eyes open. I was wide-awake, I could not move, eyes open, white room, they were still disconnecting—and when they did, it just went 'bang!' Everything went back to normal, back to black. I was shaking, I almost passed out, I was sick to my stomach and almost had to throw up, it was so scary… "It sent me on a course of curiosity. I bought a telescope, and I started reading UFO books, and I just got into the whole thing. And since then, there have been three or four other contacts with the same group of people. I don't know who…they are, but I've narrowed them down to a people called the Nine, who are called that because they're from the Ninth Dimension. I've named my publishing company the Nine Music after them. It's a crazy thing, man. But to me, anyone who thinks we're the only ones here, despite the vastness of the entire universe, is…crazy. Those people gotta be put away—no the guys having these contacts!"

However, the title track off his album, VOA is a patriotic, pro-American tune, and he, and his brother, have suggested in interviews that Sammy supports the Republican Party. He also shows up on newsmeat.com as a Republican donor, and has acknowledged that he is a close friend of Congressman Dana Rohrabacher. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Puts a weird vibe on this story.

Way ahead of you Jeff... Here is a link to a thread started just last week at the UC board. There is an interconnectedness running through all of this in that Lennon was close to Geller, Geller worked with Hal Putoff at SRI and Puthoff was the co-author of the recent "Inflation Theory" document with Haisch, Maccabee and Deardorff. <a href="http://www.ufoskeptic.org/JBIS.pdf">www.ufoskeptic.org/JBIS.pdf</a> This document describes the "Leaky Embargo" hypothesis, which I won't get into here. I do feel that influential "poets" such as Lennon and Hagar are a part of this "Leaky Embargo". I also suspect that there is an odd connection between Lennon and Crowley in that they both had a muse (Crowley had Roddie Minor, Lennon had Yoko), both lived in NY and were considered influential 'fringe' personalities and both discussed contact with ET, Crowley with "LAM" and the concept of the "Egg", Lennon with a gift given to him by ETs of a small stone "egg" (which he presented and gave to Geller) and the fact that he was the "Eggman". Not sure if Crowley lived in the 'Dakota' building way back when, but it wouldn't surprise me if he did. I could go on but I will leave this with the lyrics to Van Halens "Love Walks In" from Hagars first project as the frontman for VH, "5150". This is "Leaky Embargoism" at it's finest.... Interesting connections out there. I don't know what this means, if anything, but just thought I'd put some dots on the map. Apparently Uri Geller and Micheal Jackson are extremely close. Jackson was best man at Geller's wedding. Interesting that Geller would select someone of such obvious flaming tendancies to be a best friend with. Eventually, Micheal Jackson was put on trial, accused of being a paedophile. So here is a "link" between Geller and paedophilia. If Jackson's acquital was just, the link weakens.
