That said, I do find his enthusiasm somewhat infectious. And he does delve into areas of research where I, myself, have been digging for decades now, too. So I appreciate being able to hear someone else's take on, say, the undergirding network of beliefs that make up the foundations of Theosophy, Anthroposophy, Thelema, and the pseudo-Swedenborgian "Christian Kabbalah" materials that made late 19th and early 20th century occultism such a fascinating stew of ideologies to sample.
Basically, I see Icke as kind of being like a occultist Tarantino, in that Tarantino has far better taste in film than he has actual film-making chops (imo). You get more from checking out what Tarantino (and Icke) are into than you do from actually engaging their own stuff.
