Reverse Speech

Postby Connut » Tue Mar 28, 2006 1:46 pm

Has anyone else heard about this? Apparently, it's big on Art Bell's site, but I haven't been there in months. Anyway, a nuke in Houston has been rumored again, and if you know about reverse speech, and want to hear what Condi and the gang are saying about an upcoming nuclear blast in Houston at Easter, then go to this site:

www.ken-welch.com/

Let me know what you think ...cheers, Connut

"Spread joy wherever you go!"

i had a quick listen.
i have a problem with his technique..
the audio is not of high quality to begin with
he reverses, then slows the audio down, then finds the pieces he wants.
and then he selectively slows down different pieces of audio at different speeds and then recombines this into sentences.
i was not impressed with the end result either as none of the words seemed to be properly formed.

another big problem is the use of compression (mp3) on the audio which leads to artifacts.

if you wish to examine reverse speech a good place to start is by recording ones own voice and editing it on the pc.
you will notice you dont need to go so far as to slow down or otherwise alter the audio to hear things that seem to be speech, you could try this with music too.

I think it's completely bogus.

I attended a Fortean conference several years ago, and one of the speakers was an elderly woman who has written several books on EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena). She gave a demonstration, playing some of her cassette tapes and interpreting what the voices were saying.

It was nearly impossible to keep a straight face. Although she was a sweet, funny lady, her interpretations were... shall we say... stretching it a bit?

I had the same feeling when listening to interpretations of "reverse speech" when it first became popular years ago.

Now I'm going to listen to Stairway to Heaven backwards....

I did my own reverse speech analysis of the condi clip and got this:

"hail sweet satan"

and,

"I want Hugo"

Condi ends with: "ken welch needs to source his info better if he is going to spread nasty reverse memes about houston being nuked and millions dying"

Strange.

I'll pass around the hat, erm, I mean, his article, and I will even make a paypal donation to his Wishes Granted Edgar Cayce Group Mind revival thing if indeed Houston is nuked over easter. See, I wouldn't just pay him yet. It is not worth it to merely have people thinking we are going to be dirty-bombed. The real thing has to happen for my money's worth on this guy's forewarning ability.

I really like what he says here: Perhaps, if you share this report with enough people, the plan will be changed. The nuke can be quietly recovered and they will take it somewhere else. However, events over the past decade clearly demonstrate that those who are calling the shots firmly believe that their control and corruption of the government and military is so complete that the American people are totally powerless. It simply doesn’t matter how many people are aware of what is really happening. There is nothing they can do about it.

Very clear. Pass around his report (with embedded paypal links) in order to raise awareness of an attack which force the PTB to change plans even though they think they do not have to because they believe popular awareness does not matter.

I'll have to remember this too:

Speech reversals are really the only tool available for finding truth in the world as it is today.

i thought the concept of reverse speech was pretty innaresting. Would anyone happen to know where this idea originated? Is this occult stuff or...like...why always the backwards rockmusic references to satan and such, why not say it forward and have a message bout God implanted? Where does satan fit into all this, too?

I'll worry about it if FOB's (Friends/Family of Bush) start evacuating the area.

Why am I not surprised reverse speech just showed up on this board just now?

For the record, back before I lost all respect for Art Bell, even he was criticizing reverse speech stuff, I think.

It may not be about reverse speech per se. Check this out:

Press Release
From David John Oates
Founder of Reverse Speech
ReverseSpeech.com
3-28-6

Regarding alleged findings by Reverse Speech of a 'nuclear attack' in
Texas in April...

There is a controversy currently raging about an alleged nuclear
attack on US soil supposedly due to occur in April 2006 around Easter.
This controversy has been started in part by the website
www.ken-welch.com. In this site Ken Welch uses alleged examples
of Reverse Speech taken from key figures in the US administration as
proof of his claims.

I have examined Ken Welch's site and his alleged speech reversals and
have found nearly all of them to be invalid. The alleged reversals do
not meet even the basic requirements for a speech reversal to be valid
and as such they do not exist. Ken Welch has had no training in
Reverse Speech and this is evidenced by the gibberish he has posted
and the inappropriate format with which they are presented..

Based on the alleged evidence posted on this site I can state quite
categorically that there will be no nuclear attack on US soil in April
2006 and speech reversals do not support this scenario. They do not
show complicity and knowledge of this so-called attack by key
governmental people as Ken Welch's site claims.

The study of Reverse Speech is a complicated science and unless
appropriate guidelines are followed, and professional training
undertaken, it is possible to imagine anything into the gibberish. I
am concerned by this and others claims being made by people who have
taken no formal training in the field.

David J Oates
Founder and Developer of Reverse Speech technologies
www.reversespeech.com.

So today this person shows up posting the Ken Welch site on the cloudbusters forum, and when Dragon and I said we'd "look into it" as we are willing to do with nearly everything, he (she? guy's name but that doesn't mean anything) got all irate because we didn't BELIEVE him. We asked who he was, and he responded even more defensively, defending reverse speech and suggesting that we weren't real conspiracy theorists if we didn't believe him (her.)

So the above letter was posted, by someone else.

Ahhh, Agent Smith, you are everywhere! --MaryK
