I don't know how many of you listen to Coast to Coast AM, but has anyone noticed that Ms. Howe is always trotting on some retired military man who has a story to tell about UFOs or aliens? Are these guys pulling her leg? Are they telling the truth? Or are they not really retired? And on Sunday they had a Col. John Alexander who was talking about UFOs. Naturally, like every other military 'whistleblower', he had a unique take on the situation. His being that the government just isn't that interested in UFOs. I suppose you might believe that if you only pay attention to the conclusions of their public investigations.

Let's assume that they're telling the truth about "not being interested in UFOs" and consider what that could mean; perhaps they're more interested in the social phenomena surrounding the subject. If so, then it's in their best interest to study and possibly manipulate the culture through the social channels constructed around the study of UFOs and related subjects. It really makes you wonder whether Vallee and friends are trying their own hand at this game out there at the "Skinwalker Ranch". The saucerheads out there in Utah and everywhere else sure are making a big deal out of it.

I didn't search yet, but has the "Pentacle Memorandum" been discussed around these parts much?

From his Coast-to-Coast bio:

Quote:
For more than a decade Dr. John Alexander has been a leading advocate for the development of non-lethal weapons. He entered the US Army as a private in 1956 and by the time he retired in 1988, he was a colonel of Infantry. During his varied career, he held many key positions in special operations, intelligence, as well as research and development. From 1966 through early 1969 he commanded Special Forces “A” Teams in Vietnam and Thailand.

Dr. Alexander organized and chaired the five major conferences on non-lethal weapons, served as a US delegate to four NATO studies on the topic, and was a member of the first Council on Foreign Relations study that led to creation of the Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Directorate. Currently he is executive vice president of LEADS, Inc., and serves as a consultant to US Special Operations Command.

So, he's really into high-tech cattle prods. Non-lethal weapons will never replace the gun -- they'll just make the use of non-lethal weapons more commonplace.
"A crooked stick will cast a crooked shadow."
Edited by: thoughtographer at: 5/23/06 8:11 pm
