I've been arguing all day with people about how MRAs have been engaging in violent rhetoric for awhile now and they, like any other hate speech group, should be observed and monitored. I feel like I've had this same conversation after Oak Creek, Fort Stewart, etc.

Also, if mental illness caused murder, then mentally ill women would murder at the same rate as mentally ill men.

Good points but dont you think men would murder more since they have more natural aggression in them?

I dont know, its a good debate though. I think he was clearly mentally ill but I dont know if that is what caused this, he is obviously a very angry young man. Isolated etc.

I track and monitor MRA communities probably about as much as I do white supremacist, nationalist, Islamophobic and other racist hate groups because I think it's hate speech. The rhetoric is often violent, aimed and women, and the members of these communities tend to be extraordinarily naive and seemingly very young/immature. I've been sensing it ramping up lately too; I really hope this opens up a public dialogue and stymies the MRM and these young guys who see validation through it.

What the hell are you reading? Im 14 pages in and this manifesto is a complete chore. Hes telling his whole life story, like, the whole fucking thing.

"Even after getting a Playstation 2, I still played my Nintendo 64 a lot because I loved the games I had for it, and I had an emotional attachment to it. The Nintendo 64 was the first video game console I played, and it would always have a special place in my heart."

Also I wouldnt be to quick to jump on the MRA did this bandwagon. The only sites hes been connected to so far are Bodybuilding.com and anti-PUA. AntiPUA is a site that is specifically against MRA type stupidity, but theyve scrubbed all of his posts. His threads on BB consist of him being relentlessly insulted for being a "phaggot" and a "manlet".

In all of his videos and his posts he constantly goes on about how he doesnt understand why women dont want him. He lists all the reasons he thinks that chicks should want to screw him, he drives a BMW, he wears prada clothes, his Dad is in Hollywood, hes rich ect. These are all superficial things, he never once mentions what kind of person he is besides that he is "polite". I think he legitimately thought that nice car, nice clothes = instapussy. He seems to honestly not understand that there is an interpersonal/emotional aspect to relationships.

Also, page 35:

Once puberty arrives[sic], I would start getting jealous of all the young couples or groups of boys and girls who go to the movies together. That day I saw the final Lord of the Rings movie was the last time I enjoyed the movie theaters in peace, without fear of humilation.

His issues go back all the way to 2003, way before MRA and PUA were really a thing. And I think it has more to do with him just not getting emotional relationships at all.

He was also a frequent contributor at The Red Pill subreddit, a prolific, 40,000-member MRA community. He uses MRA terms like "incel" in his writing.
