I suggest reading his works in chronological order for any number of reasons, keeping in mind that the publication dates may not match their creation. Bon appetit.

One of these days Dick's premises, and the names he gave his entities, and his attempts to define and explain them, will be intentionally turned into evil villians working against humanity. This will be done intentionally by entities that control the Big Bullhorn of Bullshit known as the film and motion picture industry in an effort to distort the message and remove the benefits that could be had by humanity from Dick's experiences.

That makes me sad, but I suppose its never been any different.

I'm not having good luck with the buttons on this forum. I meant to include more info on my last post but I didn't do it right, so I will do it here.

I don't know what "i see what you did there" means but maybe I should clarify the initial premise.

I'm all about people activating their superman intuitive powers if it can be done in a safe manner. But there are literally small children as young as 12 years old reading things on the internet, attempting to become a super mind expanded guru, and then reporting "hearing weird whispers" they that ASSUME is their guardian angel or higher self. This is dangerous in the extreme and could seriously impair a young and aspiring light bulb head.

I don't want to post the following site in a manner that will bring the web bots here and proliferate this because I think it is dangerous for these poor little young kids that have no idea what sort of gate they are cracking open. I read every single comment on this site. These poor little kids have no idea what could happen, which "current" they could open, and never close again...

I riddled this address with X's so that maybe the web bots wont track it and I am responsible for proliferating "premature" spiritual experience in a harmful way. Remove the X's, read all the comments, and you will see what I mean.

To what end?

The conflation of spiritual autonomy (individuation/embodiment) with superman intuitive powers is a western (occultist) one and totally at odds with the Eastern idea of siddhis as pitfalls on the path to freedom and, more to the point, with my own experience and all the really good stuff I have read about psychological healing and integration (eg. Donald Kalsched, The Inner World of Trauma).

I agree with all the rest of what you said and with Steiner too, who does seem to be one of the few major figures not obviously implicated in the spiritual engineering program which IMO he is referring to (as well as Dick, hooray).

Not to keep directing you to stuff I wrote, but Prisoner of Infinity is all about this program, PDFs of part one here: http://crucialfictions.com
It is a lot easier to fool people than show them how they have been fooled.

Ok, I took the X's out and went there.

Very odd place. I bet the temporary tattoos for the chakras are very effective. I suppose that site would be what I would visualize a destroyer of souls in new age clothing would look like; although, whether this occurs through the dangerous efficacy of their techniques or the junk signal of mind stopping clickbait, I have not a clue.

You do have a point about age, I'm not sure I should have read Scanner when I was 14. Since getting my mind blown by that book, I haven't had a decently functioning relationship with consensus reality.

And of course I had to poke around, followed a linked story and came full circle:

Twyla my brother, you took the words out of my mouth...I couldn't have done it any better.

I don't know if Twyla will take offense to being your brother, but since she's into PKD, I doubt she'll mind.

Thanx for that guruilla. When I got to the section on "liminality" I realized that this piece of writing was best done in a comfortable lawn chair over a day instead of smudging it with a 20 minute cursory glance.

There are so many things I could say, but at this moment choose not to. I have a compendium of things written that I would like to unleash on the subject of a piece of the whole breaking off and seeing itself, being reflected back into itself, by the whole, because it is part of the whole, and so it sees itself as such.

But then I might mess up and name something, and in the future it would become renamed and given characteristics I never claimed it had, and it would become corrupted. And so it is....
