I wonder if France's challenge to the "lack of transparency" in TTIP negotiations--threatening to “abandon the negotiations all together”-- plays a part in these recent attacks. Are the recent attacks a warning of what's to come if the French do not get on board? Is Germany next?

Matthias Fekl, the French Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, told EurActiv France that he would “never allow private tribunals in the pay of multinational companies to dictate the policies of sovereign states, particularly in certain domains like health and the environment”.

That was back in January. Nine months later and France has now reinforced that message and gone one big step forward.

In an interview with Sud-Ouest, Matthias Fekl threatened to “call a complete halt” to the TTIP negotiations if things do not change. EurActiv France reports. America has shown no desire to change any of the major issues that have been challenged.

Fekl told the French newspaper that he believes the “total lack of transparency” in the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) negotiations poses a “democratic problem”.

Fekl, the Minister of State for Foreign Trade called on the United States to show “reciprocity” in the negotiations. “American members of parliament have access to a much higher number of documents than we do in Europe,” he said.

The German people are now taking a stand and now it is being reported in the USA that sentiment is going against the deal – “It is entirely possible that the U.S. could seek to conclude the deal in the next few years only to find that European governments are unwilling to risk the ire of their voters”.

Matthias Fekl, explained that, ever since the negotiations began in 2013, “These negotiations have been and are being conducted in a total lack of transparency,” and that France has, as of yet, received “no serious offer from the Americans.”

RI "collectively front-running" would be a 1:1 microcosm of Poindexter's "Terrorism Futures Market," which was a far more clever and subtle idea than anyone realized at the time.

(Perhaps largely due to the fact it wasn't actually Poindexter's idea...)

It's still being kicked around in policy circles, under the moniker of a "Policy Analysis Market," but that initial herd response was so intense it is still essentially a toxic idea.

The economist Robin Hanson had a lot of good commentary and ideas on that subject. None of them will be implemented here, obviously, but it's interesting stuff.

Forewarned is forearmed. Isn't the point here to try to understand? There's nothing toxic about monitoring events and testing the soundness of one's understanding by using it to try to predict future events. For one thing, it would prove that those who are manufacturing reality for us are not invisible or omnipotent or impossible to predict. Light banishes darkness. So here's my take:

"ISIS"s hit list is the same as the Zionists', and its actions serve the same strategic objectives. The so-called "Islamic State" was spawned and is being kept alive and nurtured by those who gave the world the so-called "Jewish State". As I explained elsewhere, "Israel" is not a nation-state, but an instrument of the globalist financial elites that created it and keep it artificially alive to serve their agenda, which is nothing less than world penetration and domination via the destruction of all real national states.

You want to know where the monster will strike next? As far as I can see, the list of actual/potential targets is not very long. This is not meant to be any sort of deep analysis, but it reflects my sort-of stream of consciousness as I follow the "news":

Egypt: "Egypt the prize". Instead of collapsing into civil war as planned, is building the basis for future prosperity and its armed forces are for the first time in decades ranked higher than Israel's, cracking Israel's sacred 'qualitative military edge'. Has reestablished sovereignty over Sinai, ending Israel's dream of making Sinai "the new Palestine". It is a very high priority target, not just for "ISIS"/Daesh raw terrorism, but for any kind of sabotage.

Lebanon: Hezbullah's resistance has thwarted Israel's plan to invade and occupy Lebanon twice already, dealing Israel a humiliating and traumatic blow each time. In cooperation with the Syrian Army, Hezbullah has also been instrumental in liberating Syrian territory taken over by the NATO/Zionist sponsored terrorists.

Russia: together with China, have been explicitly identified as the biggest danger to the so-called "world order". Growing Russian influence and presence in the oil-rich and strategically vital Arab region is frustrating American/Zionist plans to monopolize the region for its own purposes. Indications of a looming but still tentative Russian-German rapprochement pose a danger to American hegemony in Europe. Furthermore, its military campaign in Syria alongside the Syrian Army and Hizbullah has helped to prevent Syria's collapse and fragmentation, a longstanding and explicitly stated Zionist goal.

Iraq: Iraq's destruction and fragmentation was and remains a "prime" Zionist objective. Though it still faces a mammoth task, and is badly wounded and bleeding, Iraq has (barely) managed to survive and is struggling to reassemble itself back into a unified country.

China: is offering to supply Egypt with its own highly-advanced submarines, very similar to the German Dolphins, but at a much lower price. China has also expressed its deep interest in supplying other high-tech weapons systems to Egypt. China's enormous influence in Asia and deep penetration of Africa, as well as its global economic weight threaten the hegemony of the global financial Masters of the World Order.

France: although it is considered a major center of US/Zionist influence, it has lately shown worrying hints of independent aspirations. France supplied the Egyptian military with the Rafale aircraft, and the Mistral amphibious assault helicopter carrier, making the Egyptian navy one of only six in the world with such a capacity. This, along with Russia's sale of advanced weaponry and equipment to Egypt, has prompted Israel's demand that the US live up to its commitment to guarantee Israel's "qualitative military edge" by dramatically increasing its annual donations to Israel by at least $2 billion, and by supplying it with more and more advanced weapons.

Germany: its sale of two Dolphin submarines to Egypt provoked Israeli fury, but the Israelis were placated with three Dolphins, in addition to the two they already have. Moreover, German taxpayers will generously pay for 1/3 the cost of the Dolphins supplied to Israel. So Germany has so far avoided being punished by "ISIS". But any thawing of relations between Russia and Germany will provoke a harsh and bloody attack.

Less obvious targets in Europe include first Britain, followed by other European countries. In such instances, unlike those in the list above, the purpose is not punitive, but to promote the rise of the fascist Right and to divert attention and anger from the elites' financial/economic gouging of the working class, into sectarian and ethnic conflicts, in effect engineering civil wars to divide and weaken the masses. Also, such attacks are used as a pretext for waging costly wars that serve the Zionist agenda in the Middle East, and for suppressing dissent at home.

Anyway, we'll see, soon enough.

Not sure I agree on Russia or China at this time, Alice - this is about swaying internal populations of European States towards cheering on a war of annihilation in certain Middle East countries. Dem A-rabs is da enemy. Most Euro countries are run by the same 'social club' that holds sway in the UK/US - they are looking to justify the action (itching to, actually) and they need a raging, mesmerised internal citizenry to accede to, and participate in, their fantasies.

Turkey is controlled by ISIS, which is eating away at it. Arduan is in the their sights, he has no choice but to follow them.

Yemen and the entire area will continue to be in conflict.

Iran is half modern and half primitive, and everything will blow up in their faces there as well. Iran pulled a con with Russia to drive the US crazy. They lied and conned the United States and they are laughing at the world. The Russians are happy that Iran is succeeding in conning the US. Iran and Russia are brothers.

Egypt - Hamas, the extreme Islamists, and ISIS are causing harm and want to bring down the regime. Today-tomorrow, it will fall.

In the Gaza Strip they continue to dig tunnels. Even though there are machines that check if there are tunnels - don't trust them. They are not 100% precise. The IDF needs to continue checking the manual way as well. In Operation Protective Edge, there were great wonders and miracles.

G-d is creating the Babel Tower, confusing all of the heads of state in the Middle East and all of the countries in the world. G-d is doing everything in order to protect the state of Israel, the youth and the Jews in Israel, to prevent assimilation. He does everything, brings strange weather so that Jews don't sin in Israel. G-d is protecting His children!

Israel needs to put together the new government quickly. All of the parliament members must stop with the insults and take their jobs seriously because Benjamin Netanyahu is guided by G-d - the heart of the king is in the hands of G-d.

The economy and security are in the hands of G-d; He is running everything. It doesn't matter who will have the job - the responsibility is G-d's alone! Let it go and give in to the prime minister. You can't deceive Israel and the entire world.

Tonight's Germany-Netherlands football match in Hanover has been called off because of “concrete information that someone was planning to set off explosives inside the stadium”. Cancellation was announced less than 90 minutes before play was due to start. Merkel was due to attend the game.

Concert by a popular rap band also cancelled by police at short notice. Hanover central station is also partially closed off.
