I do find that MacCruiskeen, Project Willow and Elvis are correctly viewing along the suicide bomber axis. Something is off...first apparent in the London bombers, who definitely seemed to be unfortunate patsies.
The idea that the Stade bombers were waiting for someone, or something, in 'safe' locations, which never arrived, and then detonated, seems the most likely scenario. We have no video, which seems odd, and the lack of casualties is extraordinary. I expect actuaries to now publish new tables showing the safest place in the world to be when a 'suicide bomb' goes off is Paris.
The lack of video all around would make sense in 1995, not now. The description I think from the Guardian of the Mercedes travelling gunmen reads like professional mercenaries. The kill, or cull, was carefully controlled.
The bombs were important stampeding details or flavouring....down to the 'threat' to Hollande.
The emergency response drill and coincidental scenario was to make sure there was a reasonable limit to the mayhem, however that is decided - the teams would be in peak readiness, and I believe many were still on shift.
What smells so terrible is the MSM stampede to have anchors/reporters in Paris all week reporting (CBC and NPR have done this - don't think they are volunteering to go to Mali though)...to neatly close the scenario - Mastermind dead, Emergency Powers safely enacted: all is well, go home now.
Just like the weekend regicide play in Dallas, that ended, all neatly tied up, three days later in time for Kennedy's funeral Monday.
They may not be great writers, our master's servants, but they do have the ability to craft scenarios that work on the majority.
