Departure

Postby BrandonD » Tue Jan 05, 2016 5:53 pm

It's time for me to be moving along. Thanks everyone who made any effort to be kind and/or thoughtful.

Thanks also to those who didn't, ostensibly negative things can still produce a positive result if we try to keep a larger perspective.

Good luck and happiness to everyone on your journey.

Sorry to hear you are leaving. Hope you find what you are looking for.

I demand he stay. I read comments and shit all day going all the way to ESPN along with work. There is nothing about RI (I don't think) that should cause you to leave. You are among friends here. If there is a reason, tell us what it was. What was the straw the broke the camel's back?

No offence, but why create a post to say you're leaving? Sounds like drama to me... However, I reserve the right to be wrong.

Best to you.

Hope this is a momentary glitch and you will decide to stay at RI

I just discovered the Black Moth Super Rainbow as was curious to see why you might want to leave.

Thank you.

Is it something we said? Can we talk? Seriously, you seem like a real good soul and I'd hate to see you go.

Don't go dude! I often disagree with what you say, but that's half the fun. If everyone agrees on everything life gets really boring.

Ahhh shit! Au revoir? Now I wish I'd said something nice; that I always appreciate your positive perspective... Some days are better than others, you know?? Sometimes I feel that by posting here, I'm perpetuating and immersing myself in a media morbidity. So, while I'm gonna miss you, I can sorely guess why you might step away from this jaded screen - perhaps to re-discover reality again.

Posters have come, and gone, and dropped back by... And I got a feeling you're a genuine guy.

Good luck.

That at least seems true and around here I suspect that's no small thing.

I don't agree with hardly any of you ever, which should come as no surprise. But at least you (BrandonD) can write in whole, grammatically correct sentences. And you can even string them together into coherent thoughts. Again, no small thing. You occasionally knock my brain out of it's tracks. That is a good thing. And you've always been polite and courteous, at least relatively speaking. And that counts for something.

I'm kind of like Grizzly with the parting threads, but yah, good luck and may rigorous intuition light your way.

Blessings, Peace and Love, Brandon.

I'll miss your intelligent commentary.

Feeling guilty.

Please stop by from time to time

A bit more often than Jeff does.

May Peace be with you, always.

Sorry to see you go, Brandon!

Best wishes and don't hesitate to pop in now and then.

Generally re: anouncing departures drama: I think Brandon's message is just a polite note to let us know that we won't see him here in the future. I'd do the same if I was taking permanent leave.

the playerhaters

the intellectuals

the sudo psychiatrists

sometimes they overlap

it can get pretty ugly around here

you know the ones who only come here to put folks down (how stupid are you.....you can't even spell...how can you believe such bullshit...how crazy are you?) ...so they look good....never post anything of substance ..just insults?

they don't outnumber all the rest...the really really nice people....lovely wonderful open minded people here..... that's why I stay ......
