No it doesn't, at least from growing up in the South, my vernacular and background knows the difference between brick and concrete walls. Especially if you have construction background. And it's impossible to tell by those pictures if it's a corner or not.

I do have some construction experience in which cinder block and brick are interchangeable, that's what it look like to me, definitive? No.
* That vertical crack suggests brick.

Not just the vertical crack, but the horizontal seams. It sure looks like a cinder block wall. Made up of individual cinder blocks or...cinder bricks.

^^Stop it with the deliberate bullshit, timewasting and disinfo. Grizzly's experience matches my own (no one I have ever met would call that "a brick wall"). And besides, that photo does not show the place where they say they shot the gunman.

You know this, so stop doing it. It is dishonest.

Again:

This is the spot where the gunman was cornered by police in a second story hallway at El Centro College in downtown Dallas, July 19, 2016. On their other side of this wall is a server room, left. The police detonated a bomb, killing the gunman and causing all the structural damage. (Tom Fox/The Dallas Morning News)

I have extensive experience in construction. It is difficult to tell what that wall's composition is constructed from. Whether block, (it's not, though it appears to be) or whether it is of brick or simply a wall framed with metal studs and covered with sheetrock (drywall) and then sprayed with fireproofing material.

Why it does not look like concrete or cement block is due to its size. You'll notice at the top of the photo is a Card Reader used to unlock locked doors. Use that to gauge the size of the apparent lines of fracture and you will see they more closely relate to being the size of brick rather than concrete block.

However, all walls constructed of either brick or concrete block alternate their layout of corners, with one short side on one wall face and then a long side. The vertical fractures would only run one brick before appearing along the longer side of the brick above or below. The same would be true of concrete block.

It remains impossible to tell what that particular wall was constructed with.

On edit: What is the concern for what the wall was constructed from? Why does it matter in the least?

The horizontal lines now look more like scratches. D'oh.

Regardless: Somebody said "brick wall", and whether it is technically something that should be called brick, something that even people here familiar with construction aren't sure of, is meaningless. This is dumber than accusing the police at Disney of a coverup because somebody refers to the alligator that killed a kid as a "crocodile".

So you just refuse to post the caption, Burnt Hill, despite being asked politely twice? Although you know exactly what that caption states?

What a fine honest fellow you are.

Here, I went looking for it myself, because I had to, because you're the kinda guy you are:

Bomb blast damage and gunshot damage is seen in a hallway at El Centro College, downtown campus, Tuesday, July 19, 2016, in Dallas. According to officials, gunman Micah Johnson was killed at the end of this hallway by a bomb blast after exchanging gunshots with police officers. Tony Gutierrez AP Photo

Thanks for posting the caption that you wanted to see.
After all your histrionics, do you have a point to make?

Rebar reinforced CMU walls behind plaster are not brick walls. Just saying.

That's true, literally.
But we have lost focus.

How important is it that Chief Brown stated that Jones was cornered behind a "brick" wall,
as opposed to whatever type of wall it literally was?(not that brick has been definitively ruled out).
Seems a minor point?

I hadn't noticed any rebar being present in any of the Dallas photos, slim. Would you please link to any photo taken of that area that shows rebar?

Rebar is commonly used to reinforce and strengthen concrete floors in high-rise buildings, but in my experience, never is used to reinforce interior walls unless they require specialized reinforcing, (a bearing wall, perhaps), and never in Concrete Block or baked clay Brick construction or drywall finishes.

Burnt Hill; FourthBase and Iamwho[m]iam are united: "It doesn't matter." What wonderful human beings you are, guys. Nothing matters in the slightest to you, least of all the truth.

The police spokesmen "misspoke" when they said there were four snipers? Fine by you.

The police spokesmen "misspoke" when they said there were "at least two" snipers? Fine by you.

The police spokesmen "misspoke" when they said those snipers were "in a parking garage". Fine by you.

The police spokesmen "misspoke" when they said the 5 dead and 9 injured police officers were all shot by "snipers" "perched" in "elevated positions". Fine by you.

The police spokesmen were getting a good night's sleep or something when they failed to notice for days (or rather: knew, but chose not to tell the public for days) that at least four of their officers had been shot dead by a shooter on the street outside El Centro by no later than 9pm. Fine by you.

They "misspoke" when they said the one and only shooter was "holed up" behind "a brick corner". Fine by you.

Burnt Hill, FourthBase and Iamwho[m]iam: You'll be making excuses for the Dallas cops, the FBI and the corporate media tomorrow if they turn round and tell you the shooting happened not in El Centro but in Dealey Plaza. Because you is what you is.

Meanwhile (and this really demonstrates the honesty and seriousness of you guys): While collectively salivating over a crack in another wall, you COMPLETELY IGNORE (for hours*) the place already pointed out to to you by your sainted cops&media as the actual location of the gunman's death:

Emphasis added, again again again.

*ON EDIT: ^^That link + caption were first posted by me to this thread six hours ago, and again nearly four hours ago.

Don't slink off silently yet again, Burnt Hill, it will be noticed. I'm waiting for an answer, because by christ you owe me one by now.
