Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.
They could still get him out of office.
But instead, they want mass death.

Naomi Klein

The line is blurry between investigative journalist and historian and conspiracy theorist except one's voice takes a hit in the plaza of human thought once labeled "conspiracy theorist".

I find the conspiracy model of human history apt.

Ah yes, James Douglas.

I was a friend with his son -- drinking buddy really when it was still in manuscript form. I began reading it well before it was published let alone finished circa 1999. I wasn't even into shit like this back then. But yeah, good call.
There is no me. There is no you. There is all. There is no you. There is no me. And that is all. A profound acceptance of an enormous pageantry. A haunting certainty that the unifying principle of this universe is love. -- Propagandhi

Hey, we don't deal in conspiracy theory, we deal in conspiracy FACT! :tongout

Sibel Edmonds came to my mind, though she would probably dispute that by saying that where she strays from pure facts into speculation, she engages a "conspiracy hypothesis." I try to live up to the same standard when I engage in similar speculation on my blog. I think probably the best label for "reputable conspiracy theorist" is "conspiracy researcher." IMHO, of course.

Thanks, guys. Lots of great names to check out here (altho I was surprised by the inclusion of a few, including Dave McGowan, who is entertaining, but "out there" in a - for my money - disqualifying way. I mean, sorry, but we DID land on the moon. And Frank Zappa was NOT a military industrial complex puppet. :-P

To disqualify McGowan on the basis of "reputable" credentials is one thing. It would, however, invite conflict with the founder of Rigorous Intuition who cited him numerous times throughout his blog, particularly regarding Programmed To Kill.

Regarding the cult of Zappa, Ahmet says his late mother Gail was reported by his uncle to have "saved America in her capacity as CIA", so it only looks as though McGowan was right again. And there's no argument to be made about the high numbers of Sixties cultural luminaries who had hidden Pentagon connections while they just happened to be all living in the same neighborhood as a covert military media facility.

My "reputable" list: Peter Dale Scott, Uki Goni, Dick Russell, John Judge, Russ Baker, Graeme MacQueen, Kevin Ryan (co-editor with Graeme MacQueen of the Journal for 9/11 Studies; Ryan's Another Nineteen is a Holy Bible for any 9/11 researcher), Nafeez Ahmed, Shoestring 9/11, Kevin Fenton, Peter Lance, Lisa Pease, Indira Singh, David Talbot (the ex-Salon.com founder & JFK writer, not the Electric Universe keyword hijacker), Edwin Black, Maury Terry, Kevin Coogan, Dave Emory, Alex Constantine, Christopher Simpson, and, yes, Dave McGowan, especially for (but not limited to) his piece "The Pedophocracy" (contained in Programmed To Kill) which is as good or better than anything on the subject including DeCamp & Bryant.

It's worth noting that all of these writers (or most) are flawed vessels. Many are in conflict with each other. Dave Emory vs. John Judge, Emory vs. Constantine, for example.
