Sure, the Silsby thing has legs, maybe. I wasn't being too dismissive, just not jumping to conclusions.

No worries: I fully admit none of this would constitute evidence in a court of law.

I'm not jumping to conclusions either, although I did at first! Since I only saw some of the material I assumed it was just random noise being thrown together as a distraction - it's a lot more bizarre and unsettling than that though.

Why don't we have thinkpieces from the "woke" side of the aisle questioning the vibe here as displayed in the archived posts? Glamorizing and joking about child abuse is still eyebrow raising right? Or am I not keeping up with the pace of change?

Or is this board only interested in this kind of organized child abuse stuff when Red tribal figures are involved? (despite so many of the elite comfily straddling the hammed-up culture war narrative)

Of course we're getting the usual sensationalist Alex Jones style takes...

We may be so used to the name of this place that its implications elude us. Rigorous Intuition? What? It's like a koan. How can intuition be rigorous?

I heard of a British colonial administrator who had been a long time at his posting in India. He had reason one night to go into the village from his residence a short walk distant. In daylight the following day he noticed in the damp dirt road that his tracks from the night before had switched from one side of the road to the other as he approached and crossed a short bridge, and then they returned to his accustomed path on the other side.

He had no memory of having done so. Being a curious sort he didn't dismiss this oddity and instead he looked around the area. Under the bridge, on the side he had switched away from, he found tiger sign.

I believe that it's folly, in many instances, to attempt to recruit approval from the rational mind for one's intuitions. Because the rational mind is so often utterly incapable of providing it.

These people are up to some dark and spooky shit.

Amen to that, tigers are dangerous.

If "4chan deleted your posts" is the horizon of what can be spoken about we're in deep shit too though - sounds like game over for this site

The Reddit thread is still up, and Reddit is much easier to scrub.

Also, tapitsbo, my initial reaction to "Pizzagate" was  .

I started diving into the data dump, then I was more like :whisper: :shock2: .

Word, the connections were being made on the chan sites though apparently - perhaps as a "permitted" data dump to help freak people out and swing some voters to Trump

After looking at some of the source material sites that are still up like the "evie" one I have a very, very bad feeling about looking into this further. It's unsettling to see you intrepid sleuths seem to feel similarly although we'll see if this is completely off the radar again by next week.

The "debunking" article in Washington City Paper only makes things creepier, relying as it does on invoking the zero-credibility Yiannopolous to dispel attention from the "flap"

There is a thread here on what is "rigorous intuition" km, pretty interesting..
I can't think in an intuitive way.
It just happens. Like when you sleep on it and it comes to you.
Its nice when you are awake!
The more rational you are, and the more emotional intelligence you have,
the better you can trust your intuitions, which may then be decided to have been rigorous.
Nice tiger story!

Off topic but I wonder what exactly Alex Jones is planning to do now that his career is going to be over.

What are James Alefantis and friends going to be doing, career-wise?

A pretty tiresome and uninteresting question, I know.
