It is the same place. But, yes, the name is Comet Ping Pong. "Famed punk venue"? Is that what genre it is, the bands featured in the pedo-satanic posters? Punk? Must be a pretty obscure subgenre. Have you seen the posters?
Which mainstream sources?
No I haven't seen the posters. But I've been seeing DC-area friends going to shows there to see bands on the same tours I'm seeing, though my tastes tend a lot more towards indie rock / indie pop. I know I saw Speedy Ortiz on the same tour when they were headed there or had just come from there.
Washington City Paper was the link.
Well, do some link-clicking, and look at them.
From their "timeline photos" folder on facebook? I like a lot of these bands, Ringo Deathstarr, Colleen Green, Acid Mothers Temple, Tacocat, TV Girl, Widowspeak, Mykki Blanco, HR from Bad Brains, etc. It's actually a better venue than I thought before. I didn't see anything satanic though. It all looks to be the work of the same two designers.
I'm not misdirecting about this, I'm a major proponent of Franklin truth, Epstein, and believe that some of the language in some of those emails was too unusual to not be code. But between the logo of two crossed ping pong paddles (I can't count the number of times I've had to design something with two crossed tennis rackets, boat oars, hockey sticks, etc. - it's the standard unimaginative visual cliche for olympic-type sports) and the "secret doors" that are just doors and the risque wallpaper (another cliche in like half the restaurants I go to) I'm not sure about Comet Ping Pong. I don't think the evidence is there yet.

You saw the Heavy Breathing posters, too?
You know, I can understand where maybe these posters would just be some cathartic transgressive posturing by and for disturbed people who have atrocious taste in music. But if you are not profoundly weirded out by this same venue also being what is essentially an informal private daycare center, then I don't know what to say.
How about this. Imagine this: Lawrence King in the 1980's owns a pizza shop that has ping pong in the back for kids, even a table outside to help interest curious kids walking by, and some of the kids stay there late into the evening, and there are posters like that, plus creepy art like the painting of somebody holding a bodyless head, in the back room where the ping pong happens, and the bathrooms are hidden seamlessly, and the Instagr...uh, newsletter for the place has pictures of things like a little girl taped by her arms to a table, and there are pictures of weird digging in the basement accompanied by jokes about a "kill room", plus pizza-themed porn images, plus some mention in the back of the newsletter about child coffins, plus it hosts parties for ultra-powerful DC insiders some of whom have a very sick taste in art collecting. The suspects are all Republicans. What is your impression of the place and proprietor and clientele, in this scenario?

What about the instagram pictures of children standing beside massive cages and captions about "kill rooms" and pictures of tunnels being dug and a whole lot of other fucked up shit?

This one?
It's a bit anti-social I guess but I might not get it.
Is it an informal private daycare center?
From the descriptions it sounds like an annoying hipster spot for the stroller-and-baby-bjorn set who need to get their daydrinking in. I'll admit that I'm uncomfortable with parents bringing their kids to places that have risque restroom wallpaper (happens here) but I don't know exactly how risque this wallpaper is, and I normally just think bad thoughts about the parents for the bad judgment and refusal to grow out of their alcoholic-socializing phase and accept the reality of their existence. Go to satanic Showbiz Pizza instead.
Your above scenario involving Lawrence King would be cause for alarm, yes. According to friends, certain ideas about Comet Ping Pong don't jibe with the alt-right rumors about it, like the "hidden" bathrooms or children "partying" at night. But like I said, I've never been there.

You seem to be trolling, but for the sake of those who won't realize it:
"Kleinman is ostensibly referring to Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and 4chan, where thousands of citizens are freely and openly asking questions about leaked emails from John Podesta's account"
-- The theory and 99% of the "evidence" came from 4chan. Everyone else is just mindlessly copy-pasting it.
"Third, another video directly from Klienman again makes references to pedophilia"
-- You say "again makes references to pedophilia", yet you have not yet cited ANY references to pedophilia. And THIS reference to pedophilia in this video is to call it "gross" and use it as an insult.
"Fourth, Kleinman did another speaking session at what he described as an underground facility beneath a restaurant, and again"
-- It's a bar called Tropicalia, which is located beneath a Subway restaurant, hence the jokes about Jared.
"In summary, the pedophilia themes, both implicitly and explicitly, seem to be reoccurring and abundant."
You have literally cited just two references to pedophilia: One where it was used as an insult and called "gross", and one being a joke about Subway's Jared.
As for your questions about the video:
1) The pizza parlor image comes at a point in the video where the band says the top perk is getting them to play anywhere of the donor's choice. The joke is that the places are all shitty. Most bands would not be too psyched to play at "Pizza World" or "Bowlorama" or a kid's birthday party or the dining room of some dorks.
The images of children are NOT used in conjunction with sexual innuendos. The picture of Amanda with the beggar kids is illustrating her joke that she has been busy in a Broadway play called "Orphans and Assholes", i.e. an Oliver-like production about lovable scamps and douchebags.
2) The cribs picture, along with the accompanying giant anthropomorphic ear in the crib, illustrates her simultaneous voiceover where she says "let Heavy Breathing ADOPT your malnourished ears". She is talking about "filling holes" because the album is called "Airtight", which are indeed sexual innuendos, yet entirely unrelated to children.
3) All images of kids were to explicitly illustrate specific things she was saying in the video, things entirely unrelated to pedophilia, as has been explained. As for why they are interspersed with more tasteless jokes, why not? Do you demand explanations from Louis CK when he goes from talking about his masturbatory habits to talking about his daughter's vagina? What is the permissable time between making a joke about a kid and making an entirely unrelated joke involving sexual innuendo?

Like my post is going to be perceived as interfering with the big expose. And I'm a horrible person for following my gut and not going down this rabbit hole at this time.
So now I have to post.
Before I got into my surreal science fantasy rhythm, I wrote a bunch of horror short stories with a Lovecraftian atmosphere. I was experimenting. A few of the stories take place at Pasquale's Pizza Shop, which is situated in an old mansion. Pizza shop is the store front.
In one, there are giant flies infesting the mansion. Four of us run around spraying clouds of Stanley bug spray from our trusty spray-cans, until we locate the source of the flies (a rotting pig in an air vent). I get bit by a fly, makes me pretty ill.
In another one the toilets are clogged, the characters go down to the sub-basement, find a green slime clogging the pipes. Some slime gets on one of the characters, and his head swells up and pops. I remember a recipe I saw in an old cookbook, so we cook the slime. Turns out it makes a great pizza sauce.
Now I'm wondering if some people would read into these stories, see a code. I'd hate to be associated with that. Maybe I'll change the pizza shop to something else.
I really don't mean to be misdirecting. I just finished up at one job, now I have to go to job number two, and felt like typing some shit that I was thinking about in the timespace between.
Not that I need to justify. I refuse to feel like a bad person for not reading up on this right now. And I already know I'm a bad person, anyway.
Novem5er » 16 Nov 2016 14:55 wrote:Pizza and kids kind of go together because kids freaking love pizza. Pizza is always near the top of America's "Most Popular Food" survey in any magazine or fluff news piece. Pizza Parlors have always had entertainment for kids, going all the way back to the arcade games in old Pizza Huts to places like Chuck-E-Cheese. This is normal American behavior.
But I could see why that also makes it a perfect cover.
I've been browsing all the Pizzagate articles, threads, and pictures. I can't decide if there's something really to it, or if it's a bunch of coincidences and people grasping at straws. The problem with code, symbols, and euphemisms is that they are easily denied by guilty parties . . . and they are easily mistaken by over-eager investigators.
Which goes exactly to my original point about kids and pizza . . . it's so normal, that it'd be easy to hide any wrongdoing.
I will say that the hardest thing about internet investigating is that we so often lack the context in which to frame bits of evidence. Podesta's swirl ring? Yeah, that could totally be a pedo-clue . . . it could also just be a swirl. When we put in the context of some of the creepy art and creepy email, it starts to take on a sinister meaning, but then we really don't know the context of the creepy art or the creepy email, do we?
This is free-association thinking and that can be good. I'm leaving the possibility of it all very much open, but I can't point a finger and shout Guilty! without something concrete. That's how these creeps operate, though, communicating through code and obliterating the concrete. Frustrating.
