I am not saying that I disagree with you kuan, only that reforming American elections will be tedious at best. At worst it could well be bloody.

We know I would have had to put the kibosh on OP ED's.
But tell me Joe, how did your vote go to stop fascism?
Hey Joe, where you goin' with that ballot of yours?
Hey Joe, I said where you goin' with that ballot in your hand, oh

Are you seriously telling me that you controlling how other people vote will stop fascism.
For people in the rest of the world a vote for trump is more likely to mean they have less violence in their lives than a vote for Clinton.
So from the POV of people outside the USA - who gives a fuck what happens to your civil rights if it means you stop bombing people who aren't white and don't live in the US. Americans were happy to keep their civil rights while they shat on the rest of the worlds so clearly they don't deserve to have any.

Uh, yeah seriously. If someone is a fascist and them getting elected will further their fascist agenda then controlling how some people vote will prevent that.
Say, if a Hitler was going to be elected by votes, I'd have no problem controlling some peoples votes. That sets a bad precedent, obviously, but so does a holocaust.
And I don't see why that would concern you because in your next sentence you make it plain you don't care what the fuck happens to people's civil rights in a democracy.

And Joe, your in Australia right? How's Australia's record on bombing and mistreating people who aren't white?

Ah, come on. Now you're being sarcastic. You can't fool me.

So now I'm not the system? Make up your mind.

I believe both times I said you were the system.
But I just want to control your vote, not your destiny.
You choose.

I live in a country that is a colony of the US, the most fundamental part of the US global military comms and control network, that went to war in Iraq illegally. without consulting parliament. on request from the Bush/Clinton neocon cabal that is responsible for 10s of millions of dead people already. How many of them died while your preferred pro war candidate was secretary of state? I live in a country that is effectively an American colony. We bomb people because the cunts in the White House "ask" us to. We should seize Pine Gap and the other ground stations, make our own nukes and tell the US (and the rest of the world) to fuck off.

You don't need to tell me about Australia's record on its treatment of non white people. Growing up in Australia and not being white I have a pretty good idea. Which reminds me - civil rights from a Clinton? Tell that to black Americans in the 90s when Bill fucked them over big time to win back white Reagan working class southerners. Bill Clinton did more to ruin black America than Reagan. And Hilary stood idly by while incarceration rates of black people skyrocketed under ridiculous laws the Clintons promoted and unemployment rates of black people did the same. It was during Bill Clinton's time as president that most young black Americans effectively moved from subsidised housing to subsidised private prisons. What did Hillary Clinton, the most proactive first lady in history, do or say while this happening? Nothing much.

Anyway America is a "democracy" - people voted and your candidate lost. Now you're having the mummy of all dummy spits about it. Because of how it affects you. Fair enough but you don't really care about how it affects the rest of the world. You still criticise people from the rest of the world for not caring about how it affects you tho.

Nice to see American exceptionalism is alive and well.

Well we are exceptionally exceptional, with you know, some exceptions.

Btw, I don't think she lost the vote, EC or popular. She did worse, she let them steal it from her cause boss sez so.

And she was quite vocal about how great the Clinton Incarceration Initiative was.

I mean there were some upsides. The Clinton Censorship Project forced me to convince my parents that Tupac was legitimate art. I wasn't cool enough to be Punk Rock enough to steal them yet. The net gain from Tupac's ability to annunciate such that white people couldn't pretend to misunderstand was good for both generations.

Joe if you aren't responsible for your country, why am I for mine?
As a "colony", don't you have more prerogative to revolt?
If you don't care about the civil rights of Americans (quite a few who aren't white) why should Clinton have?
If you have first hand experience of racist mistreatment (which I don't doubt you do) why do you then think someone like Trump (who is a racist white nationalist) will mean less violence for non-whites in the world?

This may be hard to believe, but not many Americans don't get a say on how things are run.
A lot of times it is like a colony as well.
Except on election day.
And we saw how that went.
