I just did a sort of 'mash-up' of it and Joe's subsequent observation about Beyonce.

You certainly made it better.

I feel that I have been quite rightly put in my place. And I mean that in a good way.

So, um. thanks!

:)

Wasn't trying to put you in anyplace, just answering your question, which I took to be for anyone reading along.

Oh, wait, wait, wait, Zap. I knew that. And I'm very sorry if it sounded as if I were accusing you.

But I really did mean "I feel that I have been" rather than "You put me quite rightly." It was what therapists dealing with the boundary-free would refer to as "a 'me' statement." So no criticism implied, and all thanks sincere. Okay?

Also, just for completion's sake: The sound's terrible, but here's another clip of the self-mortification interview on Leno to which NBC broke the link right after I last posted it.

For those who wish to know more about Kanye's dead mother, about whose hypothetical disappointment with him Jay so very considerately asks, please see LINK.

I am loathe to ascribe every popular artist's meltdown to mind-control, but what's going on with this guy? Is it a simple case of an egomaniac having been overrated, given too much genius-credit for too long -- sort of like the artistic equivalent of the financial bubble, on the verge of collapse? Or am I rather simply betraying a personal bias, that he is really worthy of his status as rare prodigy, and everything is as it seems? Even so, how does it seem?

Kanye West Hospitalized In Los Angeles
The rapper was taken to UCLA Medical Center for evaluation.
11/21/2016 08:59 pm ET | Updated 7 hours ago

According to TMZ, the 39-year-old rapper is currently at UCLA Medical Center for evaluation. Sources told the website, police responded to a medical welfare call on West around 1:20 p.m. PT. The decision to check on the rapper was purely for his own safety and there was no criminal activity involved, according to NBC News.

West’s hospitalization comes after a series of bizarre blowups that included ranting about Jay Z and Beyoncé and telling a crowd he would have voted for Donald Trump ― had he voted. On Monday, the rapper canceled the remaining dates on his Saint Pablo tour. A source previously told TMZ that he was “exhausted” and had been “working around the clock on fashion design, both his own line and the Adidas line.”

News of West’s hospitalization broke as his wife, Kim Kardashian, was expected to make her first public appearance since she was robbed in Paris on Oct. 3. The 36-year-old reality star was spotted boarding a private jet early Monday morning and was expected to attend Denise Rich’s Angel Ball in New York City, where her late father, Robert Kardashian, was being honored.

Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, and sisters, Kourtney and Khloe, attended the event as planned, but Kim returned to Los Angeles upon learning of West’s health issues, a source told Us Weekly.

At the Angel Ball, Jenner spoke briefly of her son-in-law, telling Entertainment Tonight, “I think he’s exhausted. Just really tired. It’s a grueling tour.”

Request for comment made to West’s rep by The Huffington Post has yet to be returned at this time. We will update this post accordingly.

What's probably going on is, he heard some horrifying truth from someone who knows things, then he tried valiantly to alert the world to that truth, and then his inner circle got him committed. I know the feeling!

Or both. He does seem to have been doing some bizarre ranting about various Satanic conspiracy type stuff in public.

Kanye West is one of those people I try (usually successfully) to avoid hearing about.

Anyway i just typoed "satanic conspiracy kanye west" into google and its all about him being part of the illuminatui's plot to destroy the world or its moral compass with rap.

Which on the face of it sounds ridiculous. But if you actually listen to his music they might be on to something.

Taylor Swift is the outer head of the Illuminati.

I am so out of it that I do not recognize a single piece of music by either Kanye West nor Taylor Swift.

Forget the Illuminati & Satanism for a moment. Do the rich & famous -- in particular those who have a plurality of folks wondering why they are rich & famous (most in particular among these, those being hyped as trans-generational geniuses) -- get abused by those who made them rich & famous to the extent that they self-destruct?

Sure, he's a Black rapper, so it's gotta be coke, right?
Given his lack of lyrical interest in the typical gangsta rap fare, and that he's never been whiffed via swirling rumour, let alone arrested with contraband of any kind, I'd say if drugs were involved, they'd be of the pharma kind.

Kanye shot his mouth off at a concert, saying he didn't vote but if he did he would have voted for Trump. Word got back to the Karcashians, and they completely flipped out - watching their whole empire come under mortal threat from within - and convinced him that nothing short of a quick, well publicised trip to a mental health unit would be sufficient to counter the bad public perceptions created by his Trump comment. Kanye complied, because happy wife = happy life, even for rap Gods like Kanye.

That actually reads like a pretty sane take, bud. I'd buy that for a dollar.

Im convinced the mom, Kris, is an evil machiavellian genius - my take is a that they are running a gaslighting campaign to fuck with Kanye, like they did with Bruce Jenner.
