I am 3000 plus miles away and pretty much non-influential and powerless but was of the idea that someone on the outside could make some phone calls or other contacts for you.

That Kratman seems like a very militaristic and right wing fellow; he had not crossed my radar but I was vaguely aware of the Hugo Award brouhaha.

I apologize again if I am dense and should mind my own business.

Seems to me what you need is someone there with some influence, lawyer, doctor, professional person, someone, who can intervene and speak on your behalf. Someone you can contact or that someone can contact for you?

Couple things:

1) I have made my business anyone and everyone's business, because a) I love truth, all of it, and b) I lucked out by not being corrupted, and so I owe it to everyone who didn't get to luck out. My life -- the living of it, not the pathological symbolic Girard type stuff, which I will have none of, and which I think/suspect was a kind of echo of my situation, i.e., let's now wonder about why a certain family let a certain eccentric Jew get executed -- has always been and will continue to be dedicated to truth, and the subsequent justice that flows from Total Truth. I regret nothing, and I really really really want to live a long, happy, useful life now.

2) I am remarkably okay. A wee bit shellshocked. But overall, quite relaxed, quite at peace with my impossibly weird situation, and ready to have a lot of fun, ready to create just enough Fun to make us all mostly forget the Bad Times and the Bad People. I kinda feel the need to be really, really awesome now. And to carry on cheerfully into a deep, deep old age. To prove something to myself, and to prove something to, well, the world. I said before (and was hushed by a few) that I am one of the five most important posters to have ever graced this board. I said that at a point when I needed to hear myself say outlandishly prideful things like that, because I was mired in such a long, unproductive drought in my life, I felt like an absolute loser, except when I unjustifiably gloated like that. Well, looking back, I may have underestimated myself a little, lol.
