Of course, it's "conspiracy theory" to point out that this alleged comedian might have a conflict of interests here. ("Right-wing 'conspiracy theory'" to be exact. You read it here first!)

Also, to be honest, witness testimonies in this thread that I am referring to were cherry picked. It would be interesting to see eye witness testimonies of people that contradict the ones on this thread, or have people that clearly realized it was coming from Paddock's location. I do remember a photo of a guy giving the middle finger upwards (presumably to Paddock?).

Why on earth would you presume such a thing? Barracuda posted one (1) image of a guy vaguely gesturing upwards, but towards what was completely unclear. Certainly not at "Paddock".

Or even from anywhere in the hotel at all. Such witnesses are practically non-existent, although it is such a very prominent, free-stranding TALL building, clearly visible from everywhere for at least half a mile around.

Ellen Degeneres in Las Vegas? Is her stand up raunchy?

My husband just surprised me with tickets tp see Ellen Degeneres at Ceasars Palace in November. i have tried and tried to get tickets to see her do a show taping, but never had any luck. I really hadn't thought of seeing her do stand up. I think her show is the absolute best, and her sense of humor.....priceless.

I am really hopiing that her stand up isn't raunchy, like I hear so many are in Vagas and elsewhere.

Has anyone ever seen her stand up, and if so, what is it like? At $322 a ticket, I want to make sure it won't be offensive. I know that isn't her nature, but I have been warned about "Vegas humor."

Fans of Ellen DeGeneres might notice a familiar smile peering back at them from slot floors of a handful of Northern California casinos these days: Ellen herself.

Two new machines from slot manufacturer IGT feature animated versions of Ellen singing, dancing and saying familiar catchphrases from her popular daytime talk show. The formal titles of the slots are “The Ellen DeGeneres Show Featuring Ellen’s Dance Party Video Slots” and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show Featuring 12 Days of Giveaways Video Slots.” The penny machines started appearing on casino floors this year; casinos that have the slots include Cache Creek Casino Resort in Brooks (Yolo County), Graton Resort & Casino in Rohnert Park and Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino in Lemoore (Kings County).

Campos actually said without prompting that he did not call in his shooting on his radio to "keep the lines clear". He wanted to keep the lines clear? So hotel security could better respond to a spray of 200 bullets nobody else supposedly knew about at the time?

Ellen, of course, followed this up with a hard hitting giggle.

I just watched that a minute ago.
I thought he reported the shooting, realized after that he was hit, then didn't report that to "keep the lines clear".

And Ellen, of course hers is a comedy entertainment show,
she doesn't pretend to be news or reporting,
I wouldn't expect anything else but human interest puffery.
Though she did bring out the floor plan and her pointer!
Which actually clarified a couple things for me...

President Trump met with casino magnate and GOP megadonor Sheldon Adelson and his wife Miriam at the White House on Monday, discussing the mass shooting in Las Vegas that left 59 people dead and more than 500 injured.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported Tuesday that the meeting at the White House had been scheduled before news of the attack on the country music festival on the Vegas strip reached Washington early Monday morning.

The meeting was intended as a policy discussion, but Trump and the Adelsons reportedly also discussed how to help those affected by the shooting.

Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner was allegedly also at the meeting.

Adelson, the owner of the Las Vegas Sands casino and resort company, was among Trump's largest donors during the 2016 presidential campaign, giving millions to pro-Trump super PACs.

The meeting on Monday came hours after a gunman opened fire on the music festival from his hotel room at the Mandalay Bay. The shooter, identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, was found dead in the room when SWAT teams stormed the hotel.

Playing devil's advocate with myself. I decided to take a look at some random mainstream reportage videos of witnesses on youtube. Not one I could find so far had witnesses at the concert realizing that shots were coming from where Paddock was alleged to be firing. They thought the shots were coming from everywhere, or no idea where. Having the mic & PA on as ed opperman suggests, arguably could of caused more confusion as the gunshots reverb-ed through them.
Enough to make people think that gunshots were getting closer to them, or that they were definitely still being pursued by shooters, even as they were a distance away from the stage/concert?, idk.
