Questioning Consciousness

RI is what you want it to be ....what you want to take the time to contribute... what you want to read... what you want to bitch about....what you want to ignore .....nothing more nothing less
Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.
They could still get him out of office.
But instead, they want mass death.
Don’t forget that.

You can't possibly mean that. That would be wrong. Tragic.

your choice ..who is making you read or not read anything?

your choice who is making you post or not post anyhting?

so you are not able to control what you read?

you have the power...a scroll and an ignore feature

and the absolute power to post whatever you want

very simple you post it ...that's all you have control of.....how can you oblige anyone to post what you want to read...that's either pretty rude or lazy

and then there is the ignore feature ....you can use that and all the stuff you don't want to read will magically disappear

I laughed. Thanks for that.

So SLAD, vigilantism aside, what do you think of 'Questioning Consciousness' thus far?

In keeping with the tone of the thread at its best...

It is amazing to me what some/all people simply will not understand, though they have the innate ability to do so, simply because it is a place they will not go. Somewhere out there; somewhere in there.

I would not impose a dialog on consciousness in a thread on all things Trump as it would seem antithetical. Indeed, I wouldn't post iin such a thread at all.

But to exhort (not demand) clarification, content, viveka regarding consciousness in a thread on consciousness is a different matter entirely, is it not?

Why, you can have any kind of impression you want. Myself, I used technology to download pretty much the entire Jung canon. As well as hundreds and hundreds of heretofore unavailable tomes on every kind of esoterica. The Internet is a portal into subjective metaphysics.

The din from the resulting conversation--including social media--around the world can be heard without effort... merely by pressing your ear to the ground. Can you hear it? Temblors in the Schumann resonance.

Of course, if you absolutely must be defeated, how can anyone stop you?

I am not arguing with you.

Admit I prefer old books over the internet but also recognize the vast amount available on the internet.

Lots of social media is babble. RI is a bright spot.

I am of age and health status that life is ebbing and waning. Nature is of most comfort and connection for me.

Regards consciousness, our human senses enjoy such a limited band and our technology expands our senses but in a miniscule manner compared to what we cannot conceive. This does not bother me, things are just that way. We are not equipped to notice much but are we ever curious.

Compared to lots of social media, RI is a bright spot. Compared to bright spots, RI is babble.

Our perceptions are indeed limited; our consciousness is less so.

Everywhere perturbations. Can you see them?

Yes.

Start with Nature.

Be still, don't strain.

Movement is ubiquitous.

You don't need to use your eyes.

How can you do otherwise, as there is only nature.

How can you be still when movement is ubiquitous.

I beg your pardon, Master Po. But my eyes see ultraviolet and infrared, my third eye is calcified, and I need all the help I can get.
