I just did a search here for. had thread on 5G and couldn’t find anything. How’s we the search function doesn’t like the term “5G” because it’s not an actual word.

If there has been a thread on it, I can’t find it.

At any rate, I would be interested in a thread on this. I’ve been skeptical (heavily) of the 5G paranoia, but with 2020 being what it is, I’m definitely open now to the possibility.

I discovered there is a tower very close to me, which gives me pause.

I’m trying to find out when it went active because ...

A couple weeks ago, my entire family, including myself just felt weird. Not right. Hard to put the finger on, but just odd. Unlike a way any of us had ever felt before. And the same day, neither of our two dogs would eat their food. These dogs are seven years old and are pigs regarding food. There has never been a time, ever, when they haven’t instantly devoured their food.

Same day, my daughter, 1000 miles Straight south, still on the US, told us that her dog did g eat his food either that day. Never happened before.

This was probably around the first of May 2020 or thereabouts.

Now, this could be nothing but it got me to thinking and forcing me to looking for the 5g towers in my neighborhood.

Could have been a Schumann Resonance spike / cosmic weather event if it also affected someone you know 1000 miles away. I know there have been a few spikes lately from friends who follow such things, not sure if the dates would correlate, though.

It is of course hard to overlook the fact that microwave arrays were being researched as weapons for just as long as they've been developed as transmitters / comms relays.

With any new technology, you can rest assured of several things and all of them confound threat perception. First of all, there will almost definitely be sub-optimal side effects that get glossed over and suppressed by those with billions to make off the new tech. Just as often, there are "unknown unknowns," bad side effects that result not from active malice but from the inability for foresee what would happen when the tech is deployed at scale and licensed to other manufacturers, who will be cutting corners and subverting standards in ways you cannot predict.

Then there's the FUD -- fear, uncertainty, doubt -- being spread by rival corporations with their own rival platforms they're heavily invested in R&D'ing.

With 5GW this is further compounded by the NatSec considerations, and in 20 years I expect we'll learn that a lot of the 5G conspiracy theories were actually sponsored x formulated by Atlantic Council, NATO types to delay the rollout of Chinese technology in order for Western firms to buy time and catch up. (At which point, we shall surely see a number of these Youtube celebs "see the light" and start changing their sponsored tunes.)

Finally, when any private or public institutional actors are faced with the threat of informed citizen activists with good points, it's become increasingly standard in the past four decades to start sponsoring your own, more extreme, better funded, headline-ready controlled opposition in order to make it easier for mass media to dismiss the more rational points / players. This is how #OCCUPY went from demanding basic finance law reforms to demanding the abolition of the Fed and armed insurrection now, and this is why the Tea Party was created. It's a system that works.

Not on this planet. Occupy Wall Street went from being a physical platform/catalyst/space trying to gather critical masses in city downtowns (met with overwhelming force) to a variety of initiatives supporting the new movements that have arisen since. A big one was the Sanders campaigns, for better or worse. Absolutely none of these involved armed insurrection. Who are you talking about? And abolish the Fed? One OWS group I've worked with, which maintains activity and continuous lineage since Zuccotti 2011, has basically turned into (joined/spawned) the MMT network. I have no idea who you mean. True that like Anonymous, it was a name that wittingly allowed access to different groups. The idea, failing immediate peaceful anti-capitalist revolution, was to mix things up.

Nordic I see precisely the same dynamic in that twitter thread you linked to as almost everywhere else. Desire to keep the technology immediately overwhelms a more complex response, a reluctance to engage quickly and inevitably develops. As an illustration, take someone's mobile phone away from them. Threaten not to give it back. And there you have it.
